Old Orhei monastery

No English and visa hassles!
Those ex-Soviet countries can be problematic--how great that you could just sail into Moldova. When the airport or bus station has no ATM, you know you're off the beaten track. Great that you had good weather for the park and monastery--can you imagine, no English and thunderstorms daily? Fine end to your trip.

Nyet
Thanks Tom for the "heads up" about the language barrier. After enduring other Ex-Soviet countries and there lack of English and reaction to it, we probably wont be rushing to Moldova. Maybe next trip but not this one. Glad to see that the entire trip went well, but still waiting for the true and fake photos of the dream girl.

Dream girl
Thanks guys, but I have to honour the memory of my dream girl so no photos will be provided. Sorry!

In low places
Glad to see you made it to this location before it dries up. While we were there we were told Jerusalem was the spiritual city and Tel Aviv is called sin city.

Jews pray at the Wailing Wall

The Wailing Wall
Our time in Israel was eye opening to better understand this culture. We learned a great deal.

So glad you made it to Lebanon
We were there in February and had a fabulous time. Hopefully, you'll take a look at our blogs when you have the time. We were shocked at the brilliance of Balbek and had little of it before arriving in Lebanon. Thanks for the memories.

Salaam!
Wow, that's quite a rap Tom. Sounds like you've fallen in love with the place!

Magic and lies
I'm always amazed by people who lie about who they are on the internet when they know they are going to meet you. I guess it is ok if they thought you would never meet. Not a way I would go. That must have been a disappointment. Hungary has been on our list for a long time. We hope to get there sooner than later. Your blogs from Seychelles was a long time ago. Hopefully you've traveled and just not had time to blog. Love the Charles Spurgeon quote.

Internet dream turns into nightmare
Hi guys, Great to hear from you. I got some feedback on FB from female friends that it's not so bad a girl did this. I was surprised to say the least but did not wish to inflame the situation. However I agree with you 100%. Regarding travel, last year was a bit rocky for a while career wise so I had to focus on work. Everything is now fine for regular travel, and apologies for the break in transmission.

Finally back on the road
Good to see you travelling again and partying hard. Haven't been to Budapest yet but after your blog we feel we need to get there. Where's the before and after photos of your girlfriend??? I think we all need to do "spot the difference".

Nice Post
Really Nice Blog... Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. The Middle East country, Bahrain is a beautiful place with high rising towers, captivating mosques and historical sites. Exploring it is certainly fun, if you visit the best tourist places there. Some of these include Al-Areen Wildlife Park, Bab Al-Bahrain, Bahrain National Museum, Al-Fateh Grand Mosque, etc.

Oh Tom!
Have long planned to make it to La Digue and Praslin - after reading these blogs I know I have to make it happen. How beautiful. Thanks for your sacrifice in making the climb so those who follow in your footsteps can just link to the image ;)....heights are horrible arent they?

Visit
You have to visit Cindy. It's a shame I did not have time to explore Praslin, but it also looks incredible.

If I could manage a visit to the Seychelles, I will spend all my time there in the water; it looks so inviting! I hope you got the chance to finally kiss your AirBnB host! ;)

Seychelles
I"ve carried this guide with me for 25+ years and still have made it there. I look at the photos and dream-- longing. Your blog makes me want to board the next plane.

I don't recall you ever having mentioned your wife before...
so assumed you were single. Perhaps an introduction is in order!

Enjoy the preening
Hi Tom. Enjoying your blog. Great photos, improving all the time with that fabbo camera! My recent trip to Kiribati lacks travel blog postings as I had no opportunity to access the meagre internet there. All that preening in the Seychelles is clearly a distraction for you... Hope the rest of the trip goes well. JB
