hello there ... BOO!
Thought it was about time I made an effort to say somthing during your trip around the world! When do you visit Bognor? Anyway, seems as if you're both having a great time - did you find the International House of Pancakes in San Francisco ... very tasty! Anyway, hope you continue to have fun and look forward to seeing you back in Leeds sometime??

song words? No not sure i do know the words- what are they? Don't worry Alcatraz isn't going anywhere - you just need to persuade mum to go back to the US, good luck! Canada seems cool from what we have seen today in Toronto, very American, almost more so than America! James is ill again this afternoon (achy and weak) so he's resting - fingers crossed he's well enough for Niagara tomorrow. xxx
If Your Going To San Francisco, be... do you know the rest of the words to this 60s song.
I am so jealous, as I NEED to go and see Alcatraz.
Have a great time in Canada, before you head home.
Ooh Canada Hey guys. I've been waiting for the moment that you arrive on Canada's sunny shores. Sounds like a good thing you had some cold weather in San Fran as it'll get you used to it. Somehow I don't think temperatures in Canada and the Cook Islands really compare! Anyway, enjoy the rest of your trip while it lasts. I'll be sad not to be living my life through your blogs any more but it'll be amazing to catch up when you do get back. Love Ali xx
Hello Hi, sent you an email but maybe it didn't get through. Still having nice relaxing time although the dreaded rain has arrived and it set to stay all week! At least we got a week of sun! great news about Sunderland - premiership here we come!! xxx
green! Yes,green with envy, the beaches look amazing and although it is sunny here I bet the temperature is not the same! Having trouble getting on to hotmail at the mo so using this to let you know that Sunderland whopped Luton 5-0 this afternoon so go up as champions!!! Mac and Dad are beside themselves! One more day of rest (Bank Hol Monday) then to work all week - will be thinking of you two.Hope you got the message about me putting money into bank - should help the finances.
Fish coming home later today. Time for a cuppa. lots of love ,Mum

Have just gone through your journey so far and it looks AMAZING!!!! Can not believe how much you have managed to fit in so far!!! Will keep an eye out for further adventures!!!!
Where are you? Hey (again) guys. Whats happened to you? Haven't heard from you since James' birthday and now have no funny stories to light up my day. Hope it means that Melbourne is keeping you so amused that you don't have time to waste on the net. I am off to Canada for some 'awesome powder' next week so am ready to be the opposite of Oz temperatures. They've had record amounts of snow in Whistler this winter and average temperatures are minus 7 at the moment. Brrr! Anyway, hope you are still having fun. Write soon! xxx

I'll email soon. lots of love jo xxx ps. do you stiull like Jaffas
(those chocolate sweets)
Sorry!! Hi andrew!!
sorry for the delay, job and lack of jobs have hindered the blog-writing. hope you are enjoying the new blog?! you were right about us being so poor that work has taken over, i'm in the middle of a seven day run. Grrr, i want to be a lazy traveller again!!! i think this was god's way of telling me that i had stopped appreciating not being at work - i now vow to get drunk everyday as soon as i quit this job! the job's ok but like you i am fed up of serving people who are having fun, when all i want is to drink their wine! working in a coffee shop is all fine, lots of free coffee, but who needs that on a 40 degree day?? good luck with the job hunt after the hols, hope it goes well. You are staying in brighton i presume? By the way you will be glad to know that i am fully immersing myself in the aussie culture, and in addition to joining 'Team Kylie' in the break-up, for James' birthday we are going to see Dame Edna!! Better dash, i smell ridiculously of coffee, so off for a wash!! lots of love Jo x
Latest Gossip Hi Guys, wish I was in Australia - its soooooo cold here! Melbourne sounds great, love the cool coffee shop culture and lazing in the sun!! Such a contrast to the miserable weather over here! Havent got much gossip to keep you entertained. OK I 'm lying, me and Ian have decided to get married next summer, aaagghhhhhh - how scary. Never thought I would be first to get hitched!! Looking around at venues at the moment so early stages! On the other hand we are having redundancies at work so hopefully I am still in a job in a few months or my kitchen ideas are out the window!! Also off to Chamonix skiing in a few weeks which is something to look forward to - not quite the epic adventure you are having but it should be fun! Anyway look forward to hearing your latest blogs, take care. Love Gillian
Melbourne Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been in touch for so long. Glad you are enjoying Melbourne enough to stay. It was my longest stop-off in Oz too. You'll have to make a trip to Neighbours night. V.touristy but if you love Neighbours as much as me it definitely worth it! Things are all good in Leeds now the depression of January is over. I'm counting down the days til I go to Canada when I will be living in completely contrasting weather conditions to you guys. You think its cold there - its minus two tonight in Leeds so count yourselves lucky! Anyway, much love and good luck on the job hunt James. Love Ali xxx
Harajuku wtf Never mind where are all the Harajuku girls (ref to first blog) where are you two? The family grapevine hasn't alerted me to your deaths so what's the excuse? My one consolating thought is that you're both so poor that you are having to work 24/7 to stay above the poverty line, in which case serves you right for going off trying to have fun whilst we wage slaves are back here. Rant over.
Hope you're both well and having a good time (does that soun at all sincere after the previous paragraph?). We actually had snow in Brighton and it settled on the beach. I was of course too hungover to make it down there so had to make do with the press coverage. Did manage a brief snowball fight in the garden though.
Work is dull, everywhere is so quiet this time of year, but it's really sunny today so here's hoping (did you notice the sly way I slipped a weather report in there?).
After my forthcoming holidays I'm intending to leave, don't think I can manage another summer or Pride for that matter. It's bad enough in a normal job knowing people are out enjoying themselves but having to actually serve them while they do it is hideous.
Anyway, blog soon.
Love Andrew
