oh yes! i forgot to include rice cake in the blog =) we've tried rice cake with spicy chilli sauce and it was too spicy for us.hehe.but we loved the rice cake, we just tried wiping the spicy sauce off but nevertheless we wanted to bring some home!

nice Ilocos blog, it reminded me when I toured Ilocos in 2001. It really feels like the province is somehow detached from the rest of Luzon, although it can be reached by land travel. From it architecture, cleanliness and street food culture, not that we don't have it in Manila, but the ones from Ilocos are a culinary delight and wont give you bad stomach. I wish I can still travel PI the way you do it. Keep having fun at your travels !!!

I've been to boracay a couple of times and it has always been on the month of September. Sept is supposedly a rainy month though; I guess I have just been lucky. Last year, we had the worst storms during the month of September too so I'm not quite positive that it is the best time to visit Boracay.

Hi jaja! there's no email address so i hope you find your way back here again.hehe. the bus from Manila to Olongapo is about 200 pesos. Jeep to the SMBA gate should not be more than 20 pesos. and the bus from SBMA to Tree Top shouldn't be more than 100 pesos BUT, you should ask first if the bus is going up to the Adventure Park, else take a taxi (I'm not sure how much the taxi fare is).

In the midst of confusion and feeling of lostness, a phenomenon which I believe they call quarter-life crises (and a gloomy heart), I refuse to stay sulking at the corner for too long ... I am going out.
