hi it would be interestiong to go and visit the hill tribes . Sorry just realised you are not photographing local people. I guess taht is deliberate.
Love Liz
great reading hi bobbies
I have just caught up with you again !!!!
Great reading about all those temples - but I am perplexed about Tescos!! weird.
Its half term here and ihave hardly seen Susannah - off outand about. She has taken up roller hockey by the way and looks enornmous and very funny with the gear on waving her stick about and trying to score goals!! hee hee!
Photo requests - how about a nice one of a plate of fresh fruit or a pic of some footballers for chris - they do play footie in thailand dont they?
or some local musicians for John, or whatever
lots of love - we had to get anti midge bite cream in Norway - special strong stuff was given to us - so can sympathise
Love Liz, John, Chris and Susannah
Bites - chapter 6. Lovely photos again - especially love 'SuperBobby'!! (That's the one of you Bobby at Kampheng Phet with what looks like a pair of pants over your trousers superman-style), and also am very envious of the jungly hut.
Have you tried the citronella on your skin to keep the biting beasties away?? One of the tubes I put in the first aid kit was anti-histamine cream (ref John's comment). And keep covered up if you can bear to. xxxxxx
Greetings from Manila Hello girls, I love your photos. The ppl here use a lotion called 'Off' to defeat the mozzies, they just wipe it on wrists and ankles at 5pm, it lasts 5 hours. Drink litres of water, it helps you stay cool and gives you nrg. I put 50 sunblock on and still get fried, best stay out of the sun. Can you advise your complete itinerary?
Bug Bites I use Savlon Spray or cream or Dettol effectively on mosquito bites for other bites which refuse to go away, I use anti-histamine (?) cream, but they still 2 or three days to stop itching.
STOP SCRATCHING
Keep sending the photos, but most of all, ENJOY!!
Cuz
No people again!!!! Dear Bobby and Bobby congratulations on continuing the "no other people in your pictures" photos. You must be getting up extra early to miss all the other tourists at these historical sites! Jimmy and Jimmy send their love. I have just released them from a weekend of DIY at my house and Jimmy is now an expert at plastering, whilst Jim is a dab hand at Painting. Keep the info and photos coming and do try not to get too many bites. All that sitting down watching TV may be making you a prime target, so you have to cut down on your viewing in order to avoid being bitten. Take care. Speak to you soon. Richard, Teri and the 2 Jimmy's.........
Life as we know it ? There does seem to be a human life form in the Hut ? Or is it a bobby ?
According to the news you are in one of the most densely populated areas of the world - where are they all ??
message with love Hi girls! You are getting to some fabulous places - Ill have to read up about them. Oh dear those blessed monkeys - not friendly, Take carebut so kind of the local people to look after you. Yes Bank Hol here Went to visit a garden at Streatham yesterday = very pretty and luscious cake for tea. Glad youve had a hot meal at last Hoping to go the Tate Mod todayLife goes on here too, Love G.
Sunstroke & Bites! I suppose it's in the genes - getting too hot in the sun and getting covered in bites - I certainly know those feelings!!
Those places look great though - so I guess it's worth it?
I can recomment using your pics as wallpaper on your P/Cs - they brighten up the day - and you can chance them often too!
Can't wait for the book - "Around the World for £80" .
Whatcha you Bobbies Most impressed with your adventures - you lucky little Bobbies!
Billie and me have been cruising down theThames today Greenwich /Tower of London. So can't compete with the 2 Bobbies' adventures except there was a beautiful Armenian sailing boat in St Katherines Dock with Armenian dancing and music (sounds rather Turkish to me). There was also a bunch of Armenians on board who all looked like pirates. Culture day tomorrow - Tate Modern so will have to put my serious face on - I wonder where it is! Back to Devon on Tuesday so that will be the end of culture.Much love and take care.
Empty Wastelands The monkey lovers are in New york this week so expect a full defence of these harmless creatures next week!
Still no people in the pictures, has there been a killer plague with only monkeys and Bobbys surviving? No wonder everywhere is so cheap
Monkey girls Sawasdee kaa (Hello to those who don't speak Thai)
What a close call with the monkeys. We have seen them take the top off coke drink tins with their teeth! We saw the motorcyle taxis when we were in Bangkok - but weren't brave enough to try them. You seem to be getting lots of bargins. (Is your currency conversion table right?? Only joking!) By the way the inside of Dragon fruit is white with black spots! We had so much fruit when we were out there.
How are you coping with the heat?
Love Ying and Yang xx
planet of the apes Yes not-so-cute monkeys...remember the car getting wrecked by baboons in the monkey-drive-thru at Longleat?? Andrew, Laura, monkey-lovers, your comments please:-) Anyway the pix look exotic, tranquil and far-eastern - especially love the elephant bush ones. Love xx mumsy xx
God. You look as if you are having such a great time and so cheaply!!!
No bites yet? You are difffinitely get a bargin with your rooms. Wish we were there. Love Janet, Keith and Scottyxxx

Friday's the best day cos it's payday so lots of people go out to bet on the rounds..have an absolutely fantastic time, we'll be with you in spirit!!
Bangkok Great to see your photos - yes there are plenty of temples to see. Are you going to the River Kwai??
Have you taken a water taxi?- They are cheap.
Bit cooler in Bangkok than Singapore??
If your flight was delayed you probably had a great time in Singapore airport - one of the best airports in the world apparently.
Love Ying and Yang
no people anywhere? (ref Ken's earlier msg) Yes, Ken, no people in Singapore, probably won't be any in Bangkok either!!! The Bobbys always manage to be 'far from the madding crowd'. It's truly magical how they do it.
