FOOT Keith's foot is better now and the weather (spelt correctly this time) is still good over here!
p.s. does your suntan stop at the elbows???
Love the Benjis xxx
(Five years married this week!)
cork hat I think the cork hat is a good idea - it will go with the rastafarian wig you brought back from barbados! However, as you will have to lug it back around the world perhaps not - you can probably buy them on ebay!
Am jealous of the canoeing trip as we didn't get to do that in thailand although we tried. You are looking tanned and fit so all that work and healthy food is doing you good; do you feel ready to tackle a few hills in NZ now? Summer has given way to autumn over here and we are beginning to think of putting on the central heating now and then, and getting out the winter jackets etc. Still some blue skies days, but dark in the mornings when I go to work again. lots of love xxxxx mumsy xxxxx
We won again!! Can't believe we have won twice now - can't wait for the prizes!! Keith is off work this week with a poorly foot, but he did manage to wheel nanny round a farm on Saturday in his slippers. Grandad followed behind as nanny fed the animals (goats, sheep, larmas etc). Scott has started his third year at Uni now. What has been your best bargin in Australia? We are still having quite warm whether over here "above average temperatures". You are missing all the family fun - we had cousin John over here last week and you never guess what .........
We're Back!!! Yes, I know you have missed us Bobbies but we have been in the other Australia - Cornwall! Watching the surf and speaking to the local Australians - yes there were lots there. Have walked for miles - mostly uphill!! Farmer Bobbies well I never!! Dave sounds like your daughters have had a life changing experience! Also seems like you are eating real food now. Not sure about your attire - trousers under trousers??? It has been very warm in Cornwall you will be pleased to know. In answer to your question, we thought the same as your mum Tony Blair but our other guess is Peter Andre/Prince Charles??
Saw Nanny and Grandad this evening and they are fine.
Love the Benjies xx
I'm a Bobby - Get Me Out Of Here!" Well, you two are dark horses (or should that be kangaroos?) - fancy that - my daughter's working down on the farm and saving electricity - whatever next!!:-) Loved the Kangaroo valley and bushwalk picture - looks like a setting for "I'm a Celebrity" so glad you had nice animals and not massive insects to play with. I think Peter hated / Donna loved.....probably some singer, but I'm going for Tony Blair?! By the way doubt if you are keeping up, but British politics seems to be turning into a docu-soap these days - its almost better than Corrie at the moment. Anyway, glad you have had some good Oz meals and got some warmer clothes for the next few months - what a bargain!!!!! lots of love and big hugs xxxx mumsy xxx ps I passed my Fire Bridgade lorry driving test at work:-)
Populated Country Now that you have moved to a continent with people on it can we have some crowd scenes please? You managed to clear Bondi Beach and Sydney Harbour but the Oz must be hiding somewhere ?
I think John's theory has legs ?
Shame you will not be here for the big events especially the one that no one seems to have been able to transmit so far.
So here goes-There is red hot gossip that
ALL THE NEWS well glad to hear both have a good time, wow you spend some time away and the whole family go Baby mad 6 babies as well, Crazy, well everyone keep the Jimies informed on family events!!! hope you bobbies are coping with cold climite, sound like weather is the same as when older Jimmy when to South Africa around this last year. good luck with kangeroos( a good replacement for the mokeys)
Party Time Went to see Nanny and Grandad yesterday for a tea party where they are staying. Nanny was joining in all the songs and Grandad was tapping his feet. They kept winning prize after prize at the raffle.
What are you eating now you are in Australia? Have your legs seen the light of day yet? Like the picture with the people carrying their ironing boards down to the beach. Have you seen skippy yet?
Love Sheila and Rolf x
I just remembered, make sure you go to Chinatown, especially the shopping mall and also go to Paddy's market for all your bargains cos its so cheap there! I can't remember what days its open though, i think maybe thursday to sunday?
Bowling Warney, Nice Shane Nice. Me again, getting into this now. Oz looks amazing, are you having Thailand withdrawels yet?! Now it looks like I will be moving into my flat within the next 6 weeks (and getting a bigger TV than your dads) so am counting on you two to get me some cheap tacky souvenirs from all these countries you will be visiting and seeing you are the queens of cheap and tacky I know you'll come up with the goods.
Katie (wife to be) had her scans today and all is well with the twins. We know they are both girls and have decided to call them Crystal and Alice. Wedding plans are going well and its looking like end of November when there is a free saturday in the footy fixtures, I mean missing my bruvs is one thing but my own is beyond even me. We are looking for bridesmaids at the mo, as our first choices, you of course, won't be here. Real Shame. Anyway must go. Ta ra sport
Hello Cobber-Digger-Blue-Sports Things must be getting a little tight if you can't afford to pay the scenery company for their extras although they did come up with a few cardboard cut-outs for the beach shot. Good thing that it was a distance photo or we'd have seen the joints/ Not exactly sure where all that grass is, but I'm sure I recognize Canary Wharf in the background. Still trying various views of Peacehaven to keep us all guessing. Well done, it's really worth the effort. The English tourist board will be on to you like a shot when you come out of hiding. Love, Cuz
Blatant marketing Hiya, sorry Bobbies to use your blog for advertising purposes, but for any cousins needing to buy textbooks this Autumn, can I refer you to:
www.areyouawinner.co.uk which looks like a fun incentive for buying stuff, you might win some good prizes. And it's co-sponsored by my company, so it keeps me in a job. I've got four kids to support you know...
You should go on a shopping spree in Big W, its AMAZING! Have you been to Manly yet? It's pretty cool. We got the bus down to Palm Beach one day, and that was lovely but the waves are massive and will knock you over! One of the best things we did was to climb to the top of sydney harbour bridge but it's well expensive if you're on a budget! Also the blue mountains are worth a vist but you've gotta go on a clear day! When we went it was so foggy you could barely see your hand in front of your face!
I'm so jealous, I really want to go back! Have fun!
G'Day G'Day At last we have won something!!! Wow Australia....Looks wonderful. Do you want to know the gossip Bobbies?? Well ..................................
Sorry Bruv Well here I am again. nothing for months then two in two weeks. First of all sorry bruv for spoiling your news, I hadn't realised you had kept the news on the quads quiet. We haven't decided on names yet although bobby has been mentioned although we feel the names becoming a bit common! You have to come round soon and give me an ebay tutorial soon as I need to raise some funds to do up the nursery. Thanks Janet by the way for the red n blue booties they will be great and its great all the close family are here to share in our happy time. Anyway must get on as the other half is going through the cravings and I have to go out and get some pickles to go with her corn flakes. Speak soon, wonder how the girls are and if they have taken in that big news yet??
blue blue skies Wow, fantastic pix! Am sending money for another jumper and two bobble hats. Maybe you should get a digeridoo to replace the bongo? Emma Sherborne says hello! xxx mumsy xxxx
G'Day from Up Over
Great Pics (as ever) - had to choose which ones to use on my desk top. What made Bobby cry? Maybe you shoud have a competition and see who guesses closest - my guess is that she gfound out that the exchange rate was worse than you had thought? . Must have been sad saying goodbye to Tesco and KFC and therfore I'm very pleased to hear about the Wollies and of course all the free places you've found.
G'day mates Strewth, looks lovely. Make sure you stick some prawns on a barbie whilst you're there. I'd like a picture of a Bobby wearing a hat with corks on, please. Hope to take the quads to Oz one day when they are old enough. Bobbette said her first word yesterday - 'drongo'. So, your travels are clearly making an impression. Oh, and of course, time has moved on, so since last writing, the big news has developed. Too much to explain here, but the gist of it is that
gossip Damn that brother of mine for spoiling the gossip - but at least I get to tell you that the quads will be called Bobby, Bob, Robert and Bobbette. But looks like my family are all rubbish at this technical lark - fancy letting themselves get cut off before explaining what the big news is. Don't worry, I'm much better at using the internet, so I can pass it on. Basically, the news is that
Being a Grandad Well, you wait forever for a grand child and then six come along at once!
Shame Neil's gossip cut out at the really sensational news which was,of course, the announcement that
Weddings and tiny feet Yes such a lot is going on here Bobbies - it is a shame you will miss it all. Have got a new hat for the wedding and have knitted several little baby jackets already with matching bootees. ("Palace" colours were a bit of a problem I must admit). Have to get used to being called Great Aunt and Great Uncle.
Love the Benjies xx
Hello Bobby and Bobby Well I know you have been waiting but here I am. I thought i'd save all the gossip up for one big hit, so here it is. Firstly hope your enjoying your round the world trip of Thailand! The photos look good and its amazing to see some other people live in the countries your visiting, well Thailand anyway!! Well the news, Im buying a flat, its picked the offer is in and accepted, im getting married, well had to really as she is expecting twins, which is quite good as Andrew and Laura's quads should arrive just before so they can all grow up together, shame you'll miss all this. However the really big news is of course
Two Bobbys going around the world together!
