Well my ranch training is nearly over and I have learnt a lot! Motorbike riding was very fun going over dirt tracks (very very fast) and riding quad bikes up and down very steep slopes. Driving a 4X4 (Ute- Australian name for 4X4) up a steep dirt track, driving the tractor and moving dirt from one place to another. And putting up a fence which we had to go find a tree cut it down strip the bark off and join it onto another fence 100m away so we put up 100m of fencing before dark just in time. I have also got a job. It is on a cotton and grain farm near a town called Emerald in Queensland it will be hard physical labour 12 hours a day 7 days a week, I am ... read more

Whilst everyone was taking turns in the ute we had a bull whip to practice with (just like in the movies) I could do that also. Tomorrow brings motorbike riding and tractor riding and I ... read more
