I'm jealous! The cherry blossoms are wonderful! I'm getting more and more jealous of you two! We've had below freezing temperatures here in Tennessee-- and it's supposed to be SPRING!
Happy Easter!
Likely story Typical male, leaving the paddling to the women. LOL Pictures are glorious. Sure does seem like you are having a wonderful time exploring Tokyo. Marc says you might come this way in August. We told Tom and he is really excited. Let us know.

Length of blossoms Hi Leslie,
They bloom for only a short time, about a week. But, if there is a lot of wind or rain, they can be gone overnight. That is why we took the day off friday and went out, as they were predicting rain for sunday. They are still blooming now, but not as glorious. It has been raining so they are definitly past their peak. When the blossoms start to fall from the strees, it looks like it is snowing. Even walking through that is pretty!
Beautiful photos Marc and Arlene, what glorious pictures of the cherry trees. They put my southern dogwood trees to shame! I'm so glad you are sharing your experiences with us and enjoying exploring Japan.
Happy Easter,
Donna

My husband Marc and I were living in Winter Springs, FL in August, 2006. My husband decided to accept a new position with his company which meant relocating to Tokyo, Japan in November, 2006. We lived in Tokyo until November, 2008. After a couple of months in th US getting our paperwork in order, Marc's company moved us to Brussels, Belgium in April, 2009. This blog is intended to keep our family and friends up to date on the logistics of our moves and our adventures living in Japan and Belgium.... full info
