Well for the last 2 weeks we have been living in "the front yard" of a friends house (fiona & lee) who i have not seen for 10 years or more!!! But it was just like old times just ALOT more beer :). Troy tried to find work being told that Karratha is the place to find it but come up empty handed :( Both Fee and Lee worked so we only saw them half the time which made it a little boring for us and alot of foxtel was watched... But we did get out a couple to a couple of places which were nice, we had lunch at Dampier on the waterfront on the first weekend when we arrived, went to Python Pool which was a great day just a big treck to get ... read more

We went from Exmouth straight to Karijini National Park to look at some georges and do some rock climbing!!! We didnt quite make it there in 1 day so we stayed over 1 night at a river just before you get to Tom Price where we got some more food and beer :). This day was a wet 1, just kept raining which was making the dirt turn to mud and it got very sloppy. I couldnt tell if or what was dirt or just my new tan!!! Once we got to Karijini everywhere was pretty wet and we had to set up in the rain for the first time :( But we got there!!! We stayed at Dale's George which was the most central and only $6.50 a night!!! The next day we would have ... read more

As we left Exmouth on our way to Tom Price we had 2 roads to choose from a 1. which was gravel and the other a main road and the diff being that the gravel road was about 50km shorterbut it had also been raining all night and day which made the roads very slippery and wet!!! So we went up this gravel road thinking its worth taking a look and after about 5km's we turned around after "snaking" it all the way up the road without even trying!!! I have added a couple of pics to show what our car and caravan looked like just after 5km in the slosh!!! Oh and we hit our first roo on the same stretch at about 9:20 in the morning, lucky it was just a small 1 or ... read more

Been here for just under 1 week and not much to report oh besides "THEY HAVE THE BEST BURGERS AROUND!!!!!" There is a caravan parked behind the pub and they do the best burgers, kebabs and chips that i have had in ages. They were that good we went back the next night and had round 2. Pretty small town i was expecting bigger, but i have been told that they get packed out during school holidays which are like in 1-2 weeks. Went and had a look at the canyons here with Ash and Cristie the other day when it was blowing its ass off, great choice of day!!! Pretty impressive when looking down, even worked calling out a "koo-wee" We had Dale, Tahn and Kaylee meet up with us here for the weekend which ... read more

Well we got to Exmouth today and have booked into a caravan park so we can charge up and have "HOT" showers!!!!!yah!!! And it has a pool...woo!! hoo!! Nothing much here from what we have seen yet seems like a pretty small town but the company will be awesome cause we have Tahn, Pip & baby Kaylee coming up from Kalbarri to spend the weekend with us and Ash & Cristie are tagging along to the same park so it will be a pretty sweet weekend with all that company!!!! Oh and my big sis gave berth to her second daughter today and they named her Phillipa (not sure of the spelling yet) only 3hrs of labour, so i think Maddie must have left directions on where to come out!!! LOL!!!! Congrats bec, Denis & Maddie ... read more

Still hanging around Coral bay till Thursday then we will be heading to Exmouth for the weekend to catch up with Tahn, Pip and Kaylee. (woo hoo). Troy had a long day chasing the whale sharks, spose to be back round 3:30ish but 2 hrs later they came back. they had to go really deep but they finally came accross a "big sucker" and swam with that for a while. Well worth the $$$ he said!!! Went out in Ash and Cristie's dingy yesterday, me and Ax watched the boat while the rest went for a snorkel. Saw 2 huge turtles and sting-ray!!! Pretty windy on the hill where we are camped out so we are looking forward to moving on in a couple of days!! a few of the vans that were next to us ... read more

Well well well...where do i start....... From Kalbarri we went straight to Monkey Mia and stayed over night there at a beach then set off to see the dolphins in the morning. When we got there which was about 9 we were told that the dolphins had allready visited twice but they usually do 3 so they were hoping for 1 more. We waited and waited and waited for about another 3 hrs and then finally there were a couple in the water and of all people in the croud to feed the dolphins they were only allowed to choose 3. And out of those 3 was Troy so him and Axel both held the fish together. Axel was soo happy he got to get so close to them he kept asking "can i go swim ... read more
