Still "ups"
Good often takes place in bad happenings. You two smart people can figure out something special in spite of being "denied." Life isn't fair but you'll make margaritas out of lemons. I'm looking forward to reading about it. Love being along through your journaling. Sending love.

Your photos are beautiful! Your writing is wonderful....I've decided to skip my book this month and read your blog instead! I look forward to it the way I usually look forward to finishing a chapter. Take care and keep us updated when you can! -Maggie.

G'day, How's about a pic of that bridge you climbed?! Sounds HIGH! And that pic of the local playing his music, that's a 'dijideroo (sp), Uncle Ken plays one :-) Ups and downs keep the travels exciting, but it's time for only ups now !! Safe travels and I love you, mom xxoo

Ugg
I looked at prices today and where I saw them, they're not under a $100.00 Maybe somewhere else you can get them cheaper, but not in the area we're in.
11th November 2007

You know----I told your sister that Ugg boots can indeed be found in the United States. As I am writing this, she is whining that they are cheaper there. I am sure you miss that. Have fun, and I hear that Koala steaks are delicious.

are you crazy?
I almost wrote that down as a "note to self"....but how in the world am I going to bring those back with me? haha...our bag is supper stuffed. i love you, i'll find you something nice....but probably not Ugg boots (we did find a whole store of them though).

Hi Mates
Glad you arrived. Hi to neice Jan. Carry on all!!!!!!!
7th November 2007

So...
I just found out that Ugg boots are Australian. SO! If you brought me back some for under $50 bucks.....well lets just say you'd make my christmas AND birthday! :) (size 10.5, 11 works) ;~) I didn't know you guys were meeting his cousin, that's super cool!
7th November 2007

Australian?
They had Australian beer, which Alex and Jan drank, (diet coke for me)....there's nothing Australian about the area we've seen in Sydney other then it is, in fact, in Australia.

Let me know if you pass the Agincourt or Bar Broadway, both are north a bit on Broadway, towards the University of Sydney. I lived right near those two bars, on Regent Street! I'm so excited to see pictures! I know you'll take a lot and document everything you possibly can! :)

Booya.
Congrats on getting their safely, mate! Sounds like the weather is the same there as it is here. An "Irish" bar? In Australia? Shouldn't you check out the "Australian" bars first? Kidding. Much love - and luck!

WOW
Wow wow wow. I was wondering when you were going to be off agian. I am sooo happy that you got to see Sabs. I miss her from highschool. Sorry about your plane ride- but just think- if it would have crashed, and you would have been sitting next to nice people-women and children or what have you- you would have wanted to help them with their oxygen masks first. This way you could have ripped the drunk girls' oxygen masks right out of the plane :) Miss you Suzie Q.

Woohoo!
Sorry to hear about the flight to LA, but yeah, the one to Australia is a BITCH. Mine went to Auckland first so I sympathize! Sleep as much as you can because you'll be wired once you land! Oh and I've only been to LA once, but I had dinner at Duke's! :)

what what. yeah. what your mom said. you could always write for a travel magazine and do the graphoc design layouts OR you could travel, create your own travel magazine, do the layouts and sell issues to under-developed fisherman.
