Smudge,
Brilliant blog mate. By the time you get this note you'll probably be in B.A.
Stay safe.
What are you & Patrick's plans now?
Kindest and most impressed regards
Nevil (did the bear talk in Nakusp BC last year).

I started reading this update with thoughts along the lines of "Bloody Gohery, lucky bastard. I'm stuck at my desk and he's off travelling Bolivia".... I was surprising non-jealous once I got to the scary parts...
Glad you (seem) safe 'n sound.
Shannon xx
P.S You write good for a fella :o)
I too am traveling South America and having a blast but as a "biker" who can't afford to do the trip on 2 wheels, I keep seeing you lucky folks on your BMW's, KTM's and Africa Twins and I am so envious, at least with you I can live vicariously through your blog, Keep warm safe and aim for the gap between the green bits, Happy Trails you lucky sod, might see ya somewhere along the way, Suerte
Finally - another entry! Hi Brian,
You must just be having too much fun (noted the pictures of the Latin beauties) - but for us couch potatoes at home, who check every day for more of your exciting, humorous tales - WRITE MORE OFTEN.
Ride safe,
Rich

Keep the blog going! Brian:
Another great entry! Hope all is well and that you are safe and sound. Keep us in the loop. I'm living through you! Take care.
Estoy muy celosa....jealous Good effort on the blog, well impressed and now you will have to keep it up to that high standard. I am....bikeless and poor but it was all well worth it, just wondering when I can fund the next two wheeled trip myself, I think it may be a while yet. How is that lovely BMW going....going to have to go now due to jealously levels getting TOO high!!! Safe riding
Great post! Thanks for the great pics and commentary--especially on Dia de los Muertos as celebrated in Oaxaca. Stephen hasn't posted anything yet about his time in Patzcuaro. Apparently he lost all his pictures, so he has to substitute them with those taken by the people he was with. Eric posted some great pics of the celebration in Guanajuato. Ever since you joined up with Stephen, I've been following your blog too. I've been enjoying (vicariously) your trip. Happy 34th, by the way! --Dave (Stephen's dad)
is it your aftershave? I think the title speaks for itself, although I'm guessing you generally don't smell too fragrant very often so it must just be your rugged manly pheromones.
Another good blog mate, you're getting very adept at them.
Looks amazing and the stories, memories and tales you are amassing will make you a very popular grandad/uncle/ old man in the care home with a yarn for every occassion ;-)
Well back here things are all change, by the time you get back we should (fingers crossed) have sold moved and be someway near to settled in a new home, maybe even a dog.
If we decide to stay at all, talk of Oz is hotting up and we are taking steps to try and fully understand the consequences/benefits of making the switch.
Work still isn't great but strikes have been called off, so although nothing is settled and the dispute rages on at least some headway has been made.
We are now officially all Skyped up thelawsons.uk I have no real idea how we get to contact you, and reading instructions isn't big on my list of essentials so you'll have to lay it out for me, I will be in London on your birthday between shifts, so you'll have to make do with a generic facebook message and maybe an email if I'm not too snowed under with the hero stuff.
After that though, a chat would be good so just let me know when you are available and we'll try and get something arranged.
Take care bud, missing you loads.
Lots of Love
Me, 'er and the little fella x
Can you email me this picture? I would greatly appreciate it!
I think this is the first night I met you...and for some reason you wouldn't look my direction. I think you may of only said two words to me. HAHA :)
Models Hey future Mr Responsible ! How's everything ? Going to Guatemala, eh ! SO JEALOUS !! That pic's awesome, thanks for posting it ! Aren't we, Saburo and I, excellent top models ...? A hug from Argentina ! Take care xx
Buenos' Brian! Still haven't got internet in the new place so I've just read your last couple of entries and can report that you (well actually the cake I was eating at the time) nearly caused me to choke to death. Who knew Mexico and Newcastle would have anything in common?? So pleased you having an awesome time
We finally got round to booking a holiday to Cartagena in January, so you have to give me some tips. I'm so excited, although I've found out that Romance in the Stone (which is the real reason Ive wanted to go since forever) was actually filmed in Mexico-so I'll have to go there too! Keep up the good work! x
