Hi Brian:
Got to enjoy your blog this morning with my cup of coffee before I head out for a long day on the road. It is cold here. You write of hot temperatures, and I am freezing and have had to turn on the heat in the house. Glad to read that you got your documentation in order for Mexico and that you are still safe and sound. I still wish that I could be a gal who could rough it more so that I would get brave enough to take an adventure too!
I also sent Tom your blog to read and he told me to tell you hello! Take care and look forward to reading more so consider this inspiration to continue to blog when you are not motivated to!
Marlene
PS: You write you are in Cabo San Lucas and you seem to have yourself some really nice accomodations. Hammock, Pool, Beach, Drink in hand.....sounds great!
Gidday from NZ - just a wee note to thank you for successfully wasting a good hour of my work time today. Loving the blogs and just a teeny tiny bit jealous of all your travelling now I'm back in the land of the long white cloud. Enjoy Mexico and can't wait for the next update. Safe riding xx
Good going! Hey Brian, glad to hear you're doing so well still, and that immigration wasn't tooooo bad!
Love all the photos, and the stories. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find a bear (any kind, and colour, any size) whose internal sat-nav is off course, and happens to be further south!
Brian 'bear dodger' Gohery What a great read...(it killed time while I ate my lunch at my desk). Having tried to get my 6 month pregnant self into a sleeping bag at hte weekend on scout camp, I can sympathise....take care, C x
Just found the photo of the end! Brian:
As I was reading you last entry I realized that I didn't page through all the photos of the previous entries so I went back and found your photo at the end of the Dalton Hwy. I figured you had to of taken a photo of that moment! So ingore my earlier post of not seeing it!

Worth the read! Hi Brian:
Thanks for the long catch up blog! Glad to know you are safe and sound and past any Bear incidents! Who knew that you would repel them? You started out worried about them, and you ended up almost wishing and daring one to cross paths with you!
Be safe and have fun! (You seem to be doing just that!)
Marlene
Too funny! Brian:
You had me LOL when I read the part about the beaver and satellite channels! Too funny! Yeah to crossing over to Alaska. On to the next blog.
Marlene
Enjoy following your journey! Brian:
Been waiting to hear how it is going in more detail and appreciate the catch up you are doing on the blog. I'm off to read the next entry! Be safe! Marlene
Hi Mr G! If I am the Kat you are referring to ref the blankets then you are errily right! Way before I saw the comment I was eyeing the picture thinking - MMMMMmmm - I like that blanket!
Thanks for the blog - its great reading about your crazy adventures. You do swear an awful lot though considering your Mum is reading it!
Take care mate,
Love Kat x
I have to agree with Kat. Biscuit quality has been seriously compromised since you and Katie left. Dave offered me one of his secret stash yesterday (he's a dark horse, has had a secret stash for ages apparently) and it was a digestive. A plain digestive! No chocolate or anything. I could only bring myself to eat one. Feel like my commitment to the cause is flagging. (We do see less of one biscuit pilferer though.)
Blimey! That Bison looks huge. Glad your having a good time, am not jealous at all. Although a new series of the inbetweeners has started. Who's jealous now eh? C x
gald you're having such a good time, I'm not jealous at all (however all this talk of bears is still worrying). How many chocolate bars are you getting through each day now?

Who knew Dirk was a Dick? Hi Brian
Loving your blog, it sounds like your having a smashing time and getting a lot out of it already.
I fwd the link to Steph and Alex (you met them at Ice-skating and gay choir day of fun).
BTW, the standard of biscuits at work have gone to shit since you have been gone. We have f***ing rich teas in the tin. I don't mean to be ungrateful but christ - Rich Teas! Does it even qualify as a biscuit.
Will send you a more personal msg on Facebook (that sounds dodgy!).
Hope you are ok.
Love Kat
More.... Brian, I've only just discovered your blog but am proper loving it. I need more though!
We're flying over to Boston on 1st October and travelling around New England, New Hampshire. I was excited before but your tales have got me really riled up. Woohoo.
Keep driving carefully - when you're not drinking moonshine, of course! - and enjoy every second. xxx
Hey Brian! Loving the blog (and sending the link to everyone-so remember me if you ever get a book deal). Pleased your having such a great time. Stay safe x
Not so different Well after getting the service done I picked up the bike and headed east along the Harrow Rd, it was busier than I had remembered, a full three miles, dodging drugged up bus drivers, illegal drivers and gunfire I made it in to Maida Vale.
Not a journey I particularly enjoyed but glad to have it as a party annecdote.
Sounds awesome buddy.
Very impressed with your blogging prowess, keep it up mate.
Would say that you're missed but just far too busy to even notice.
