Hi Daryl! I'm loving your trip! It's seems like you've been gone a long, long time! Sam & I really miss you in the office...it's not the same without you!!! I'm praying for you, but specifically for your shins, back and feet. Hurry up and get back here!!!!!!!!!!! : ) Cheers!
Enjoying your pilgrimage - vicariously Hello pastor Daryl and Roger. You are sorely missed, but we are praising God for each day you have on the journey together. May God continue to restore your bodies and souls each day. His grace is sufficient. I am asking God to help you Daryl with the back pain. Meanwhile, keep posting those amazing photos so we can feel connected and joyful about all you are experiencing. May today's walk be filled with sweet conversation and the presence of God's abiding Holy Spirit. Bless you both! - Doug btw, I will give everyone at Traditional Service an update this Sunday. They ask every week about you.
Pastor Daryl!!!! So good to hear (more like read) from you haha. I'm so glad I came across your blog. Praying for your shins! Crossroads is missing our favorite Aussie!!! Safe travels!

G'day again, Daryl, and thanks for the entertaining commentary as you travel! It almost makes us want to do the journey, too! Almost!! We think Roger has the right idea about chocolate! You can never have too much chocky! In fact, a balanced diet is a chocolate in each hand!! So make the most of the chocolate factory, Daryl - it may just be what your sore shin needs! And keep walking - you are doing so well! With our love and prayers, Kev and Liz.
Hi Daryl, even though I joined your blog late, I did a catch-up and have enjoyed hearing about your walk. It sounds wonderful and tiring. Your pictures are great. I hope your shins and back feel better, I'm saying a prayer for you. You will probably need a new pair of hiking boots when you get back, lol. God be with you as you continue, and I pray he gives you the strength you need for the rest of your journey.

Fun, Fun, Fun! Daryl,
Looks like you guys are having a blast. I bet the best part is the people you encounter. JoAnn and I lived in Germany for over a year and the best memories I have are of the people. Stay well. Continuing to ask God to bless your trip.
Spain Hi Jerry, great you could catch up on my blog.
Yes, we have met some wonderful people, all with varying story. Tonight we are staying at an old mill farm. I'm sitting by a roaring fire looking out the window at the river flowing under the house. There thick glass panels in the floor of the dining where you can watch fish swimming in the river. It is quite a pleasant place. Hope you are well. Love to all the family. C u soon. D

Praises and Prayers! Daryl Thanks so much for allowing us to join you on this Pilgrimage. This trip is on my bucket list and now I am more inspired than ever! I am praising God that you are able to do this. I am Praying your aches and pains are short lived and you remain blister free. Blessings to you and your fellow pilgrims.
camino Hi Wes, the Camino is well worth the trip, tough, but also an evidence of how pilgrims of another age lived and traveled.
We have had some great experiences. Yesterday we arrived in Leon in tge midst of a week long festival on the plaza outside our hotel. Hhndreds of stalls, artisans etc; plus lots of food stalls. We couldn't pass that up so joined in eating.
I'm sure you will enjoy it much as me, even more so because you are younger and fitter.
Regards to the family. Daryl
G'day from Oz - again! Hey Daryl! Thanks for the photos - they are amazing! Can't even begin to imagine some of the beauty surrounding you as you have walked! Love the sheep photo - trying to think of an appropriate caption for it, but don't worry - you will be the first to know when we do!! We are praying for you, and just want to say - Keep going!! You can do it!! And what an achievement!! With our love, Kev and Liz.
Love your blogs We check every day hoping to see a post from you. It is a highlight of our day/evening. As far as we are concerned your posts are to short we love reading about your journey. Thanks for showing one of the direction signs I was curious on how a person would stay on route. You & Roger are in our daily prayers wish we could be walking with you two. Sending blessings for good weather & good health for your days ahead. Missing you & can't wait to hear about all your travels in person when you return. Hugs.
torture chamber Hi Ken, no it wasn't the chamber, it is tge choir seats for the Nuns on tge 2nd floor of the Cathedral in Sahagun.
Short walk tomorrow only 14 kms, then a couple of long ones. Hope the girls are ALL behaving at your place, ha, ha.
Love. D
Impressive! Looking good my friend! Sorry you are experiencing some soreness but a 2 night rest in one spot should be just what you need to be refreshed and ready to continue. Been enjoying the pictures even the sideways and upside down pics. I think you should go find a nice Starbucks for a cappuccino refreshment.
starbucks Starbucks is non existent here Betty, what I wouldn't give for a nice Latte.
Just finished dinner, ready for bed, and a walk in the sunshine tomorrow.
Keep smiling. Daryl
I logged on in what I thought was the same as last time but found my way straight to your blog this time. now I can compare notes with the two of you and should have a really full overview of the walk.
