beautiful! Such beautiful country you have been witness to! You must be excited and saddened to see the end of the journey so close! What a wonderful goal to be able to check off your bucket list! I am very proud of your persistence to accomplish this goal. Thank you for sharing this with us all! Prayers for a safe remaining journey. God bless you both!
I'm enjoying reading your posts and seeing all of the wonderful pictures! I have been in prayer over your legs, hips, and feet. May God continue to watch over you two and bless you on your journey.
Walking? The pictures of you seem to show more resting than walking? Hmmm....wonder what Roger has an ulterior motive?
Just one more big climb and then smooth walking for the rest of your pilgrimage! How very exciting! Once you return home you can soak in the tub and get all of those sore muscles relaxed again! Looking forward to hearing all about your journey!
Amazing Hi Daryl, I think you are doing an amazing thing, you will get right through, you have so many people praying for you and encouraging you. This has been an incredible trip and a fantastic opportunity, love seeing your blogs and photos, even after walking all day you scrub up pretty well, although I am sure you are relieved the bags arrived. Push on my friend, you have always been an inspiration to me and you have God on your side to carry your though. Praying for you. Love you heaps Dale xo
cheer sqaud Hi Dale, you & Paul are a great encouragement, thank you for your support on my trek. It has definitely been one of my way out there things. I am so pleased we are nearing the end; it has been an accomplishment, which sometimes I wondered if I would finish. After tomorrow we will be approx 150kms from the end - ie from Sydney to Newcastle.
Well, it's nearly dinner time, can't miss the Pilgrim meal.
Love you heaps. D
bus? Does this negate the purity of the walk (he, he) hope it is going well. Who is the thin guy in the pictures. Happy Birthday! Deb and I keep you and your friend in our prayers. Looking forward to your return and more photos.
Bus Hi Ken, interesting question; I will let you answer that when you complete the Camino, he, he.
Only 8 days to go, after tomorrow we are under 100 miles left; it seems a bit unreal to know I have nearly finished what I set out to do. Blessings
wishing you God speed for the remainder of your walk The highlight of my day is seeing your blog. I always ask Rick if you posted for that day he normally gets to read it first. We love the pictures & your tales of people & places. We feel as if we are walking with you - we wish we were. You & Roger are on our daily prayers we know you both will finish strong. Can't wait to see you & hear more. Hugs to you.
Horses and castles Hello again, Daryl, and thanks for your birthday greetings to us both! We know we were a bit disrespectful of you and your age, but we learned a long time ago that you give as good as you get!! And we love you too!! Love the castle, and are amazed at the horse riders! What a way to go! Yep - we will stick with motorbikes too!! What an amazing journey you have been on! Just wondering - when you are turning 80, will you do it again? :) You're almost on the home run! Keep going! Praying for you, for your health and well-being, for your safety, for God to bless you each day. Love, Kev and Liz.
pictures Have been enjoying your wonderful photos! It looks like such a beautiful area you are getting to see. Praying your shin and feet survive and heal. Hard to believe you only have a few wonderful days remaining for your pilgrimage. Such a great accomplishment and I hope it has been and is all you wanted it to be!
photos Hi Betty, pleased you're enjoying the photos. However, I can't take the credit as most of them Roger has taken.
I do have many on my phone, but cannot transfer them at present.
We are now just over 100 miles from the end.
You encouragement has been fantastic - thanks.

Coming Home Hi Ken, looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month - we need to line up lunch for a chat.
My feet get very tired by days end, but then so do all the other walkers.
I'm quite pleased I have reached where I am. I intend to finish even if I have to crawl over the line; especially now we will be under 100 mile after the next days walk.
Taje care my friend. C U soon. D
