Beautiful country I am a little envious! The pictures of the water and countryside are beautiful! Thanks for sharing and keeping us updated. It is like we are taking the trip with you.
Family Update Aleta and Shelby, Missing you both but know you are enjoying yourselves!
Our granddaughter broke her leg and ankle sliding into homeplate at the softball field. Our son-in-law tore all the tendons in his elbow in a Weightlifting Championship in Atlanta. He had surgery on his elbow, including pins to tie the tendon back. May 2, he goes in for surgery as they removed a mole from his back that is stage 4 Melanoma. My grandson was fishing with his Mom and an aggressive turtle came up behind her (she was sitting on the bank) and grabbed her shirt. My grandson took out his knife to try and get the turtle loose; he stabbed himself in the left arm...pretty deep cut...had to go have stitiches etc. My granddaughter, who has Crohn's Disease has has a flare up and is scheduled for testing and possible surgery next Friday. My daughter had a blockage in her head and had to have angio-plasty...she is doing better today. I am happy to tell you that Max and I are fine, Max has his garden planted, grass looks like carpet, all my flowers are planted and we are really enjoying this beautiful Spring! Hope to hear from you again soon. We enjoy the updates; thanks for including us.
Brrrrr Really enjoying your trip out west....we had a great graduation...check out the club web site for pictures....we missed having you both there....we are off on a trip ourselves and will be back in May....hope to see you then....Mike
Absoulately beautiful pictures. I love travel via all the lovely pictures, that you are willing to share with your friends. I have a strong feeling that the pictures are as close as I will ever get to seeing San Diego.
Aleta, Polly is not doing well; we do not think she will make it this time. I could be days maybe weeks, only God knows.
In fact, I am getting all the laundry done so I can pack my bag and be ready to go without being so stress; if that is possible.
Enjoy your travels.
Love,
Linda
I guess you guys have finished your renovation on your house! Looks like you are back on the road. Wish we were there! We went down to Florida for January and February. I'm still hoping to pass you on the road!
Remembering... We loved San Antonio, the Alamo and Riverwalk! We found the food there very good. We are so enjoying re-living our travels as you and Aleta are visiting so many places we have visited over the years. My Mom's brother lives in San Antonio. He's a retired Air Force Colonel...30 years service. We once had a Mary Kay Directors' Conference there also. Keep traveling and keep us updated, we are enjoying reading about it. Love, June & Max
