6/18/13 - Headed out towards Portsmouth, OH - Blenko Glass along the way

Got up to rain again this morning. Had breakfast at Denny's at the Flying J. Left the Flying J at exit 185, Catlettsburg, KY headed for Portsmouth, OK.

Stopped at Blenko Glass Factory along the way. Took the tour, did not get to see all the process, but what we did see was interesting. Prices in the store we a bit high. Dakota and Briar had fun playing in the rain and mud puddles. Got wet from the waist down. From Blenko's we stopped at Wal-Mart. Stayed at Wolford's Landing, small campgroung, a little tight, but right on the Ohio river and $35.00 per night full hookups. Kids went fishing in the Ohio river, Rod Hetsler, his wife Ruth, their daughter and her boyfriend stopped by to visit. Worked with Rod before retiring, really enjoy catching up on what had happened since my retirement.

Had chili for supper.
