Laos, land of adventure, relaxed people, beerlao, and the mighty mekong. We started off our first full day in Laos just wandering around Luang Prabang. Cool small little city - a world heritage city. Old french colonial houses and buddhist temples dominate the architectural scheme, while tuk tuks and motorcycles roam the narrow alleys and streets. It is and island of a town that is trapped on both sides by the mekong river. A wonderful place to say the least. Around noon we grabbed a tuk tuk out to the kuang si waterfalls to hike a bit and catch a dip in the water. Beautiful place, beautiful waterfalls.
