How was the weather? I was checking out your wonderful blog and wondering if you had any nasty weather during the time you were there? I am hoping to go to Belize next year at this time but from my research its supposed to be crazy wet, rainy, hurricane type weather and this scares me off a bit.
Glad you enjoyed the Trip Off course there is so much else you haven't seen. I was looking through this website http://www.mybelizeadventure.com/ and i realized that we too had missed much as well. It will take a couple more trips to get a full appreciation. We can't wait to go back
alligator does that alligator know who he is dealing with? I have heard that alligator steak goes really well on a sandwich.
Enjoy the rest of your adventure. See you soon.
HEY YOU GUYS I SO PLEASED THAT YOU ARE BOTH DOING WELL AND ARE HAVING THE TIME OF YOURS LIVES - THE PHOTO'S HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC THROUGH OUT YOUR BLOG, AND THE WRITING JUST AS GOOD. MISSING YOU BUT SMILE WHEN I THINK OF YOU. ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN - ITS PRETTY DULL HERE - I'M SOOO JEALOUS!!!! LOVE LU XX P.S DAD CAME OVER FROM FLORIDA, FIRST TIME IN 6 YEARS XX
- what do you mean 7 weeks left? Running out of places to visit?! That alligator looks VERY hungry - just look at his bulging eyeball. I'm expecting Matthew to be sporting a Captain Hook right hand soon.
Did you make it up to Salvador?
Glad Alex didn{t cycle Hi, as we saw your cycling in Vietnam (Catba) its probably best you didnt take to the saddle again, only joking, sounds like your having a ball, like us, take care xx
Good Move I seem to remember spending some time trying to convince you two to spend time in Bolivia. Looks like you finally did and had a blast. It was a highlight of my tour. I see you didnt go into the Amazon Bason tour in Bolivia - I think they also do it from Brazil, well worth the trip.
Keep having fun...
Fabulous! The pictures look absolutely amazing! I hope you are enjoying it. I hope you're both well and that it is a life changing experience. Lots of love NathXXX
Blimey! On board catering looks distinctly superior to anything Jamie Oliver might want to scare up.
Fascinating to get an insight on the reed islands on Titicaca - others have also raved about them on similar world travels - thanks for reminding.
So where's next from here?
Blimey! NZ sounds like extreme sports central..... with a nice bit of wine-tasting thrown in for good measure (10 wineyards in one day - hardcore!).
So, South America next. Hurrah! The one continent I have always wanted to explore. Looking forwards to your escapades, as always...
Airport Blues Very Interesting reading about your trip Mat - I didn't think you could write! It reminded me of my visit to WhitSunday's and Fraser Island which was fantastic. You will be glad to know that Pier 6 is now finished! The official opening on 18 May 06 was pretty impressive with the arrival of the A380 and Gordon Brown who forgot to pull the draw chord! Now working on Heathrow East if you ever come back. Matt
Fantastic. Your Oz odyssey is so reminiscent of mine, 18 months ago - Whitsundays and Sydney being the highlights. But no Melbourne? Or Brissy (well, Noosa is close).
I will def check out the Arts Factory in Byron for next time...
So where's next?
And don't say, Europe!
Hi! Glad to see you had a good time in Australia - you did more in 4 weeks than I've done in 4 months here!! Your pictures are, as always, amazing. The whitsundays look gorgeous, I'm saving to go there next! I'm sorry i couldn't meet up with you on the sunshine coast, we'll get that drink one day.... even if it is back in the UK.
Hope your good times continue, Laura x
Can I skip Singapore I found a flight to KL for alot cheaper than Singapore. Is it a mistake to skip Singapore or is it posibble to travel there for a few days and then back track north. By the way I enjoyed reading the blog and will definetley read some of your other posts...Thanks, alan
but... How much was it to travel through singnapore? I've heard it's quite expensive. I'm glad y'all are having a good time there, i haven't heard many good things about it, so perhaps Sarah and I will reconsider oneday.
