UK You are in for a real culture shock back here in the UK its b****y freezing seems to be the way they welcome you back this after visiting the colonies!!
You really seem to have had a great time look forward to catching up once you have acclimatised. Dave & Rita
Sounds like you have been having fun........and marginally better weather than we are having! Minus 2 when I went to golf on Saturday. Dib the Burns Supper there on Sat night - very good as usual! Te Papa certainly worth a visit - liked the ‘quake simulator. You doing South Island now? Aoraki/Mt. Cook was my favorite spot in NZ. You be up for a DSM soon!
Comment for Grant Hi Grant
Thanks for your comment. My blogs are a bit behind actuality. We have moved on to my Melbourne ( arrived yesterday evening) and visiting my daughter here. We are not doing S. Island this time as this is our 3rd N.Z. visit and we have visited most of S. Island apart from Stewart Island. Spent yesterday morning at Te Papa having previously visited for the Gallipolli exhibition - very impressed.
Good Blog Hi Roger,
I’m loving the blog. Keep up the good work! We had a bit of sun yesterday just enough to lure us on to the golf course so we could get nice and wet again!! Love to the C.O.
Latest blog and all previous ones Just love hearing about what you have been up to and your sense of humour/turn of phrase! Especially liked the "talon sharpening" and the nomenclature "Commanding Officer". Looking forward to next entry. Enjoy yourselves.
Story so far. Enjoying reading of your adventures so far. Very envious as we battle the snow and cold miserable temperatures. Having trouble working out why the CO has not been relieved of her command, and yourself not promoted. Xx
Singapo Did you get to Mount Faber then? We had a S Sling at thre Marina Bay Sands - the Long Bar at Raffles open only between 11.30 and 12.30, or so. I was cartographically challenged ther too- Rae was proved right unfortunately. Must be that the southern hemisphere revereses your sense of direction..........or it could be old age! Enjoy!
