Just a Catholic girl who grew up in a tiny town in Wisconsin, USA dreaming of traveling the world! Now my drea is coming true. I have been to over half of the United States, France, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Canada! On my way to Istanbul (not Constantinople, the Turks just like it better that way)for the fulfillment of a dream of 22 years, to see the Hagia Sofia, the Bosphorus and many other beautiful sites.

Because in the States our parks are really more like patches of grass. I should have expected more of a nation of people who can landscape a 10 foot by 10 foot yard into a place where you just want to sit and drink tea all day. For those who haven't been to, ... read more

Visa of Understanding Required Travel is exciting, and stressful (insert "Duh" here) says the queen of the obvious. It is even more stressful when you are on medications or have to have a regular sleep cycle. So many people have said, "Bah, you're on vacation. Go to bed late, get up early, sleep when you're dead!" But what if you have an illness that interferes with this "burn the candle at both ends" philosophy? Again, duh, take care of yourself, get sleep, eat healthy, chillax. People often forget that the most important part of taking care of yourself is to travel with people who are understanding of your condition. sounds simple, just tell people what your condition is and how it affects you and they will understand. Ha! Not likely, especially if your condition is ... read more
