G'Day!! We are 2 Aussies from Queensland on our travels making our way around the world. We have planned to travel through Europe, UK, America, Canada and Thailand.
Hey!! We just spent a week in the French Alps snowboarding (well trying anyway) which was a lot of fun. There wasn't too much snow when we first arrived nor was it very cold, but by the last day there was a fair bit of snow coming down and the weather was a lot colder. We all started on the Green (easy) slopes and tried to teach ourselves how to do it right and I must say it is a lot harder then you think it is!!. Prague Wow, what can I say we absolutely loved Prague it was such a beautiful city. There was so much to do and so much to see we stayed 3 nights but wished we had stayed more. We met heaps of people there and once again a heap of Aussies! We stayed at the hostel called Sir Toby’s and it was the best Hostel we have stayed at so far the people were so nice and the hostel was unreal it even had a bar that was under the ground and stayed open until 1.00am. It served really cheap beer. We visited the Prague Castle at sunset which looked unreal in our photo's. We did a walking tour of Prague in the day with our guide from the Hostel and he was hilarous!! We even seen ... read more
Hi everyone!! We spent 4 nights in Barcelona and it was so good, we really liked it there. The hostel we stayed at was really nice, it was the best we have stayed at so far and it was rated one of the top 10 in the world and had awesome people working there. We met a lot of people there as they had a huge common room and everyone just hung out each night and we all drank together. Each night the receptionist would organise a night out to some pubs/bars/nightclubs and everyone from the hostel would go and you would meet up with other people from other hostels as well. We didn’t leave to go out until 11.00/11.30pm one night and we went to a shot bar which was really cool and then we ... read more
We arrived in Rome on Sunday 13 August at about 7.00am and caught the train into the city from the airport and had no idea where our hostel was and how to get there. After a long walk with our massive backpacks we finally found an information outlet and we were given a map and directed where to go. It was so hot and the backpacks were killing us and we finally found the Hostel and then were told our room was on level 5 and we had to walk about 20 flights of stairs to our room but we made it. We did not do much that night as we all were absolutely buggered. The next morning we went to the bus station and booked a tour and got on the double decker bus which ... read more
