Relly interesting, Rainy Gee, your photos and research make Vancouver look like the city of tomorrow's already here! I didn't see these things when I was there a few years ago ... your fine photographer's eye did the trick again. Thanks for this interesting insight into our West Coast metropolis.
A great article, Rainy ! Boy oh boy, you've outdone yourself here! Thanks for all the research, as reflected in the extra web-sites that you have listed. Your choice of houses and other buildings gives new insight into the beauties of Seattle, which is starting to look and sound similar to San Francisco. I like the saturation of colours in your photos too. Bravo Zulu !
Bravo, Rainy ! To my uniformed eyes it looks as if you hit upon the one or two days when it was bright and sunny in Seattle, which I'd always thought of as being like Vancouver ... rain, rain and more rain. Thank you for these fine shots, and for the wealth of URLs for more information. I didn't know that there was such a large Scandinavian influence out there. It looks like "herself" had a thoroughly enjoyable time, getting a great collection of thoroughly fine shots..
Kudos to Seattle I'm glad you are re-publishing these articles, Rainy. It's really good to see how SOME cities take good care of their heritage buildings, unlike the majority which just destroy them to make room for new ones. Nice shots ... thanks.
Spectacular ! What a terrific collection of fountains ... it reminds me very much of Aix-en-Provence. And you've also given a fine illustration of all the street art distributed throughout this beautiful place: how fortunate that they don't get snowed in ... people can enjoy it all year round..
Very nice coverage ! As you have been doing lately, the shots taken in bright sunlight once again show the sites and the skies very nicely ... I'd want to visit, if I were still travelling that far. What an original idea to use broken pieces of pottery for the benches ... sort of like Portuguese azulejos, but locally authentic! Thanks for another fine collection.

Wouldn't one of these go well in your decor? :)
