Love your colour saturation! You've given a really fine coverage, Rainy. The colours are superb, and the background you gave about the aqueduct is really interesting ... it's sure a long one! Many thanks.
Nice colour! I like the colour saturation in the photos on the first page, and also the way you have achieved perfect exposure every time. It's clear that a lot of history unfolded in the Teatro de la Republica ... thanks for letting us know.
That may be a jacaranda tree altho I swapped RGB channels so the flowers may have turned purple because of that? LOL I used the 'callejons' a lot as they were traffic free ;o)
Colourful !! This is certainly a colourful church, Rainy. You've covered pretty well everything, and I like the way you've included the girl's 15th birthday. Nicely done!
Beautiful coverage! You really have outdone yourself with this blog, Rainy. The colours are deep and impressive, especially in the shots of the fountains. It's heart-warming to see how Mexico has restored and maintained its cultural treasures, and how you have documented these masterpieces. Many thanks.
Holy smoke, Rainy, seventeen churches and convents! It's hard to fathom such an enormous number in a small city, and even more incredible that the nuns managed to get this one built in only five years! I like the pastel colours, which you have rendered so nicely. Many thanks for letting us know about his one.
After all the convents I've visited in Mexico & other places, I learned someting new on this one - that Discalced Carmelites are barefooted Carmelites ;o)
Another fine glimpse into Mexican culture. I never cease to be amazed how the missionaries created such fine examples of architecture using the untrained talents of the local population.
A very nice article and photos – thanks for sharing it with the world.
