So impressive Wow--I'm so impressed at your spirit of adventure traveling around with Italian as a second language. You sure have covered a lot of territory on this trip. We'd love to hear more about it once you get your feet planted back on the ground in MN. Want to come over for dessert or dinner or meet somewhere betrween your home and ours? Our countdown is 6 weeks until we leave. We have flight connections from Mpls- Newark-Milan-Venice (all on one FF ticket). Keep in touch.

Bravo Bravo--you guys are doing great. We are enjoying your blogs. We just got our tickets (Mpls-Newark-Milan-Venice) via NW FF miles leaving Dec 17th and returning Jan 10th. We will base out of our son's home in a village near Avianio. We'd love to hear more about how it all was (and about coping with the language differences) when you return.

Rumbaba! It sounds wonderful! Yummy Rum, don't leave without watching how Mama makes it! Following along with you during your travels has been an adventure, I especially enjoyed the photo with Pat's hands in the toilet! It's chilly here and the leaves are falling.
Ciao!

Fantastic trip! I know you're having a wonderful time despite some crazy days. Just remember, you're no in MN and not at work. BTW-I'm ready for you to come back ;) I love reading about your trip. Your pictures in Venezia bring back memories of my trip there in '96. I"m glad to see it's still afloat. I hope you enjoy the last few days of your trip! -Sally

Living Vicariously... Looks amazing! Your blog keeps me entertained when I am bored out of my mind during class (when I bother to show up that is). The pictures look amazing. Have a pistachio and cantaloupe gelati for me.
Grazie "Grazie mille" Pat and Anne for sharing your trip. It is very much "wetting our appetite" for our Italy trip. We'd love to check in more with you when you return and get back to routines and have the space to share yuor enthusiasm. Fall is moving into a colder season here--supposed to get sleet and some slight snow tonight. Last chance for the garden harvest. Take care.

Enjoy! I hope your having a grand time. Italy is such a wonderful country to tour. Be sure to climb the stairs all the way to the cupola at St. Peter's in Roma. The view of the city is spectacular. Safe travels.
Enjoy your Trip! Hey Bro and Bro-ette, enjoy your trip to Italy. Sounds great to get away for that amount of time. I don't know about the cooking part of it though, I would come back looking like a whale.
Say hi to the Pope for me, and tell him I don't agree with him about a feww things, but he will have to call me if he wants to know what things.
And let Pavarotti know that I think he needs to lose some weight, but he still sounds great.
That is about all the people I know in Italy... Don't run into any Mafia. Enjoy.
