Hi Everyone, Here are some pictures from the flight. It was a couple of student's first flight. I thought their parent's might really like to see their smiling faces. The gentleman pictured here is our delegation manager for the trip and will be us from this point on. He is great. Also, thought you might want to see our stop at the playground and a couple of our guides. Will not post tomorrow probably because it is $15 for 24 hours. Will post as often as possible though. Enjoy! Bambi ... read more

Hi Everyone! We made it safely and are worn out. Landed about an hour late due to our plane out of LAX waiting for a plane from NY. It has been a great day but we are calling it lights out at by 10:30 because the leaders are worn out. Here is a picture at the Sydney Arx Sports Coliseum. Bambi ... read more

We are all safe at home now. Before we left, the students wrote their thoughts of their travels. Here are a few. The trip wa amazing. I don't know how to feel right now, though. I'm actually bummed about having to go home. I can't wait to see my family, but I will probably never see 30 of the kids again. Part of the reason the trip was so fun was because it took every single one of us to make the group. All of us contributed into making sure the trip was fun and if you took just one of the kids out then it would have changed EVERYTHING. - Chris OMG, I really can't believe that 20 days went by that fast. I was so scared in the beginning, but I am very glad ... read more

Today we went to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. It is hard to believe it was the last day. Tonight we had a goodbye party by the pool with pizza. Thank you parents for entrusting your children to us. It has been a privilege to get to know each of them. I want you to know that our delegation manager said they were the most prompt of the six delegations she has led. If we said be at a certain point at a certain time they were all there. She said it was a amazing. I agree. Here are some photos of the Eiffel Tower and a picture of our bus and our favorite bus driver in the world, Addie. Four of us were on the Eiffel tower last year but because the group was ... read more

Today we left Heidiland. See picture of mountains from my balcony. Just gorgeous. We stopped in Lucerne for a little shopping for chocolate and knives and then off again for France. Yesterday was journal submission so I am including some of the students comments on the concentration camp and their homestays. There are a couple of poems from Justin. I have also included pictures of students on the boat on our boat ride in the Alps and some of the students with their home stay families. Concerning their trip to the concentration camp. Freedom When the sweat drops Like rain from the sky And when a grown man breaks Like a baby and cries, When the pain is unbearable And there is a tear in every eye When you are told to take a shower And ... read more

Today we will meet to say goodbye to our homestays. We will meet the bus about 10am German time and head to Switzerland. The leaders have run into a few students as we have been about and they all have smiles. Only one student had a touch of homesickness but Bruce has seen her personally and she is much better. Here are a couple of pictures of Munich. Joni and I took the train there yesterday. Today is a lot of traveling and I don't know how the Internet will be when I get there so don't worry if I don't post anything.... read more
