Not too much new at the moment. Last weekend we went back to La Finca Nueva Alianza. To spare everyone (including myself) the boredom, I won´t write about it. On Saturday (July 15) we went to Momostenango. First we visited a family I know that lives just outside of Momos. Luis and Thelma (and their children) make blankets, rugs, and other woven goods. They make everything from scratch; they get the wool from their sheep (black, grey, and white) and then dye their threads using all-natural dyes from various plants, insects, rocks, etc. After showing us the process, they of course allowed us to purchase some of their products.
