3rd December; Visit to Mama Jo’s organic farm While doing research to look for income generating, I came across the case of Mama Jo, a local lady from Nambala. She was granted a loan from an international NGO a few years ago. She was given a goat and some money to start the farm. She has managed to run the farm to provide for her and her entire family growing: Mchicha, Spinach, Onions, Chinese Leeks, Beans, Soya Beans, Green Pepper, Tomatoes, Cowpeas, Ngogwe, African Nightshades, Carrots and cucumber.
