I was there in 2006 and we were able to ride in small boats being pulled by the Trackers. They must not be doing that now. Sorry!

I took time to read this your update (work and gardening have 'busied' my life) and was very impressed with your physical ability to manage the climb, but also your ability to sense the imazing power in that location. I'm glad that you are
taking the time to enjoy!

So many adventures! And a police car, too!!!!! I imagine now there is a new legend of a woman with tireless energy who could walk the planet if bridges connected the sea! From your perch high up on the planet do you se actual mountains?
Are they beautiful? The whole world wants to know. Keep on trekking!

Hi Laura,It's such fun traveling with you virtually. If only I culd be with you in reality. Guess lunch will just have to do. I'm turning green with envy. David and I are going to Quebec next week. Our small effort at traveling compared to
your globe hopping. Enjoy and be well. Fondest, Ken

I loved climbing the Great Wall. Like you, I went ahead to climb more. Two Chinese guards even allowed me to take some of the wall that had crumbled onto the ground. My treasured souvenirs.
