made it to the internet cafe Paul, what do you mean you're glad you're not around for big brother this year? it has the classiest and most intelligent people I have known on TV, they make the teams on University Challenge looked challenged. Honestly. I love it so much i get up at 4 in the morning every day just to watch them sleeping. and i talk about it ALL the time at work, cos you know, that is by far the most important thing going on at the moment...Loved loved loved your blog about the pandas, made me smile SO much! They looked so so cute, and having seen the episode of the Mighty Boosh where Vince Noir falls in love with a giant panda, i can totally see the attraction now! Poor old Laura though, you looked my one of my kids a few weeks ago when she was recovering from chicken pox. I could relate really well with elephant hill, being from the home of elephants myself. That's red elephants with castle on their backs and subways that stink of wee. Boy am i glad that i'm here...
Fab piccies The photos are fab, it's like we're travelling with you (without the smelly, sweaty train travel, nice!). Loved the elephant river and pandas. Newsround comments made me smile. They always had a panda breeding update. Nothing but rain here. BB fever has started again. Love the commentary of your adventures, the only exciting thing that happens on my computer at work. Take care and keep having fun! Love Catherine x
Just passing time Those gorges you travelled through looked fantastic and the pandas are soooo cute - I will be showing them to all at work tomorrow. Everyone keeps asking how you are getting on and I of course enthuse about the travelblog - even got the head reading it now. We are all really envious and want to come and join you. It is not at all muggy here in fact quite cool and it has rained and rained and rained. Well look forward to going to Cardiff at the weekend - Up the Mariners - lots of love Mum
Where r u Since we have not heard from you for a few days I am beginning to get a bit worried. Have you become Panda fodder or sunk on the river or lost your memories - whatever please contact me
No work done again Am getting no work done keeping up with your adventures. Whole of the office now following your travels. Lots of Panda piccies please. Take care. Love Catherine x

Thanks for using TravelBlog.
Saga louts Sounds like those saga louts were our American cousins!! You don't know how jealous I am. Seeing the terra cottas and now Pandas. All I've had to look forward to is Year 11 leaving! Mum is stiil informed of how your doing but I think she might appreciate an email that I can post to her if you get the chance.
Hi! Glad to hear you were able to wtch the mighty reds lift the FA cup (again)! Just wanted to say your blog is the funniest, and most interesting thing I've read! The mental picture of you two on a tandem is hilarious. No wonder the chinese are fascinated by you! Even my dad is hooked on reading it! Keep it up! take care x
Bikes Glad to here you had a nice bike ride. Hope you were both wearing hats- I'm jumping on the band wagon now- listen to your elders. We also went on a bike ride today - Kayleigh fell off now hence the name! Glad to here you had a good day - sounds like a day Katie's perfect day-football, a mcDonalds and by any chance did you top it off with NESTLE Kit Kat Chunky?!
Moaning And Football!! I knew that alarm clock would come in handy! Laura stop moaning, you're skiving from the rest of the working world and you're moaning about the heat! Anyway the feast of football has begun - I hear Katie is well happy. Hopefully West Ham will the cup - I am already getting evils for saying that from my semi scouse lover! Hope Grimsby win today- Paul keep the faith! Good to see some pictures and I am dead jealous about the Peking duck story. MMM...Peking duck arggggh!
Headgear I see from the photos that have appeared that Paul (sensibly at last) is wearing a hat - but lo and behold Laura for some obscure reason has abandoned her head gear. Laura, I would have thought that by now you would have the hair washing time down to a fine art and have quickened up a bit (only joking). It all sounds fabulous - I hope the duck had a clean bill of health certificate that you checked before eating
Hospitality I was actually asleep due to the over excitement provided by the hosts! yawn! Don't punch anyone Paul have you seen those Jackie Chan movies?
Enjoyed reading your blog today! I'm off to Beijing in a few weeks time and looking for inspiration- first time in China!
Was really looking forward to the Great Wall but after reading the bit about lowering youself through a window I'm not quite sure now! (Not got a great head for heights)
Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip
Paul- Manchester
Entertaining Hi Laura and Paul - I am thoroughly enjoying your day to day comments - my driving must seem WONDERFUL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ENJOYING YOURSELVES. Love to you both.
Seat Belts I hope you used your super duper seat belts or are they in the same bag as Paul's hat??? Today sounds great but I bet you will be sore tomorrow - good job you put in all that effort with keep fit before you went laura - knew it would come in handy.
Pardon me for being so rude, it was not me it was my food WIND?! It was a very tiny and polite burp. Nothing compared to the usual belch fests that Laura treats us to - ah I miss you Laura! Anyway, Thomas couldn't cope with being up past his usual bed time of 9.30 and had fallen on the sleep and was snoring by 11.30. Pussy.
Looking forward to seeing Paul's coconuts. By the way, please don't punch anyone, it's a scary place to get into trouble. Stick to a shandy and you won't upset anyone.
Hotel and other things Stayed in chez newington last night. They were wonderful hosts and you get wonderful value for money - paying for a single bed and get a bigger on than expected. Food was good also - except for the terrible manners of the manageress- wind of the highest order! Glad to hear you enjoyed your birthday Laura - Paul if you are unlucky she will try and strech her birthday until at least July. World Cup countdown on- upset Katie by telling her about the games coming up. Uefa cup, FA Cup, Champions League, England warm up games and not forgetting the play offs. Thats all before June 9th. Good luck to the Mariners by the way.
Please note that non Mario Kart fans should skip the 2nd sentence We'll just have to imagine Paul's lovely bunch of coconuts then. See if you can jump over the great wall, I've heard if you do it right you cut half the course off.
Drew 1-1 - were up for the playoffs against Lincoln!! We will send a report on the fantastic sites of Lincoln after next weeks massive game!! The UP THE MARINERS CAMPAIGN continues... We cud be in Cardiff soon.. We love Wales!!!
