My African Adventure

Starting September 2008 I will be moving to Ghana, Africa. I will be living and working in a town called Agogo for approximately six months on an internship through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). I will be working with a program called ChildSpeak that is run out of Bow Valley College in Calgary, Alberta. This program pairs elementary school kids in Calgary with students in Ghana, Africa. The students work on projects together on issues such as poverty, AIDS, environment, etc. I will be working in Ghana with students and teachers by developing projects, teaching, acting as a Canadian liaison and support, and much more. I look forward to embarking on this adventure! This blog will be used to keep you all updated. I will miss you all and please keep in touch!
