WOW Pam for reasons I cant understand I was not getting your blog and when I did I couldnt get into it. This morning I did some investigation and figured out how to get in and read all of your blogs from begining to this one (Feb. 25th)....I have found a new carreer for you. Your are such and excellent writer you must begin to write a book on your global travels......it would be a best sellar............I find myself wanting to hold a map when I read because truthfully I find the spelling of the locations quite combersome... I worry I dont give each of them the attention the deserve................you continue to amamze me..........your detrimantion, your curiosity,..........such remarkable character traits.................stay safe..........have fun...........bring home pictures.............all the best, Lionel
A bit of France I hope you are taking lots of pictures Pam, that is not a problem is it? Your blog is great and I am trying to visualize the sights you are seeing.
Mexico greetings Hi ,Enjoying your updates about the travel .Picking up Brenda for a week with us.Will be great.Saw some petroglphs in the hills. It was a great walk into the hills. Take care.keep in touch
Enjoy the climate Sounds fabulous, Pam. Flowers seem like a distant memory in Saskatoon in February. We have another blizzard today and people who live out of town are leaving work early so they don't get storm-stayed. Big winds and snow. Luckily it is "only" minus eight degrees C or so. Our snowbanks in the yard are the biggest we can remember in 18 years we've been in our house. So enjoy the climate! See you soon.

Paradise This sounds wonderful Pam, adventures in India. Enjoy the warm weather; the good food and walks on the beach. We look forward to seeing pictures of Paridise.
We could use some beach weather around here last night we had a freeze.
Vacation in Varkala I'm so glad for you that you found Varkala beach. I loved the black sand and the cliffs and the dolphins that would come in to play in the morning. I also ate the best falafels of my life at a restaurant up a spiral staircase toward the top end of the beach strip. Have you met Renata, the exuberant US expat yet? I imagine her to be a mainstay.
Enjoy!
Hello From Regina Wow, Kerala sounds amazing. Glad you are getting some sun and rest. It can be exhausting when one is constantly moving from place to place. All is well here....we are just today (Thursday Feb. 15) getting a break from minus 30 so would rather have been there with you this last week. Blair is settling into Edmonton on his first week of work at GreatWest Life and Laura has been in Tanzania for a week already (at a CIDA planning workshop) but will be back next Wednesday. Your house is awesome.......very quiet and relaxing. Take care....Kelly.....
Paradise It is what you were longing for - the beach and all the amenities that go with a tourist place - you deserve the break after all the road travel.
Dheli Belly is home at last Hey there Pam - just to say your companions are home once more - after a 2 hour car ride through Dubai's wonderous traffic - (It only takes 4 hours to go to India, right?) - I will follow the rest of your adventures on the blog and live vicariously for the next few weeks. Sam is so great, isn't he? He certainly will be there for you if you should need him.
Enjoy your R+R now at the beach...look forward to your next adventure, but especially to your coming back to Dubai.
ah Kerala Who's Ashram are you visiting?
It really is terrific food, isn't it? Kerala has some riches, for sure.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Monique

Lovely Kerala Aren't the tile in the Cochin Synagogue beautiful? And those colours and expressions of the Kathakali dancers amazed me!
Oddly, after my trip down memory lane jogged by your trip, the woman I travelled Kerala with emailed on the weekend for the first time in years. I hope you too meet some interesting people.
Wishing I was there!
Monique
Yeah Canada Good to hear all is going well. We loved Cirque when we saw them in Montreal in 1988. What a success story; they're still amazing almost 20 years later! Just a thought about Dubai's construction--I notice the CN Tower in TO is still the world's tallest free-standing structure. Yeah Canada! We ate curry last night thinking of you (but ours was made with beef). xoxo
Greetings from Mexico HI,glad to hear about your adventures.Sounds wonderful and full of great new experiences. We are settled in Mexico in Los Ayala, very close to Guaybitas.Enjoying the people, mostly Canadians and Americans. Our house owners came down from Guadalahara,so did practise some Spanish. Two doors down from our Calgary friends.Shopping in the market has been fun and lots of evening activities so far.

WOW DUBAI SOUNDS VERY INTERESTING, ENJOY AND DO BE CAREFULL.LIONEL LOST THE NOMINATION BY ONE VOTE, VERY DISSAPOINTING FOR HIM I'M SURE. ALL IS WELL HERE BYE R
Happy shopping Pam this sounds terrific; I though of Dubai as city compared to NY and Hong Kong. I will look forward to seeing your pictures.
I got your package on monday; thank you for the birthday wishes.
We went to Cirque de soleil in Orlando; it was a Canadian troup and was wonderful.
Planning is good! Wow - your itinerary sounds super! However, I'm somewhat suspect about Circue de Soleil - that almost sounds like a Las Vegas activity! I'm glad that your bank card works as you'll need it for your market purchases! Do take care . . .
I am off on another travel venture. This retirement thing is quite wonderful ,I recommend it to you all. Keep me posted on your activities.... full info
