All today really was an airplane trip to Baltimore, Maryland with a flight full of screaming babies. And random, rough turbulence. At one point, I was reading the book that Isabella gave me to read pre-Africa, The Shadow of the Sun by Ryszard Kapuściński, while all of the sudden, it felt as if the plane dipped way down. Then… 30 seconds later, the plane did something where everyone in the cabin were literally lifted out of their seats. It was without warning and very interesting. After all of that, and the incessant cries of toddlers, the landing was horrible. Once the plane finally set down (woo hoo I survived!), I asked the lady sitting next to me whether this was the pilot’s first time flying. She laughed at loud, saying she was thinking the EXACT same
