We dream of holidays like these!!! Each entry of this whole trip has been so adventure packed and so amazing! We learned alot about New Zealand these last few months, some of your pics are just unbelievable - and enjoyed sharing a little of your whole experience. Now that you're so good at weekly (or so) updates, how about keeping us "in the know" of your Canadian adventures too - it's even better than getting an update from your Mom. Looking forward to seeing you soon, we hope.
denied... Riley won't let me comment on the Zorb / birthing process, I have something really great to liken that too.. perhaps it's fitting to restrain, beings as it's a public (not privates) comment... hee hee..
I can't tell you guys enough.. pictures = amazing
movies on couches no seat kicking at all?! airplanes would be worth the price of the ticket with these seats!! we are counting the sleeps til you both arrive, so looking forward to seeing your much loved faces!
movies at a premium Can't tell you how much the ferry movies cost but the theatres we have been to set us back about $50 for tickets and popcorn... their seats are MUCH better and more like couches with optional pull down arm rests, and enough leg room so that you can't put your feet on the seat ahead of you even if you want to!
movies on boats did you watch a movie on the inter-island ferry? I'm thinking a movie theater on a boat is going to charge a premium.... maybe $28 each? tell me if I'm close. and the popcorn would require a swiss bank account... but I could be wrong. Keep soaking up everyday!!
free museum and free sunset Sounds like you will find something cool around every corner there in New Zealand!! TUi is looking good in that last picture... why don't you buy her a plane ticket home too!?
Just caught up on your blogs! Have enjoyed hearing about your adventures. Looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing more tales.
Spring might finally be here by the time you get back...
What amazing sites you do see!! Our snow is now gone for the second time, and we've had 2 days of gentle rain. It's making the farmers later than usual, but they're happy with the moisture.
Frost?! Oh dear. Does that mean that your journey is coming to an end? When are you guys set to come home? Or have you decided to stay forever? (I wouldn't blame you). By the way, LOVE the Supa Centas! That is bad ass.
No problem. Dustin really did all the work. Glad to give you a break from all the beautiful scenery, 4 x 2in and crazy adventures you two globe trotters get into.
That sand adventure sure was a pain in the butt, we know the feeling well, we got the motorhome stuck three different times. Amazing to think that CAA card came to the rescue that far away from home, I'm impressed! Could you put $5 down on Fiddler Socks next time you're at the races?
high ropes 17 meters is a long way up, and a long way down. How did you score on the golf game? Does the ball circle the hole the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere?
Great Journal entries Wow, you guys are taking some amazing pictures. The colors and sencery...police officer Bruce is so life like its hard to believe he's not real! We're sorry to hear about your stuff getting taken, hopefully someone will beat them up someday and they will trace it back to that poor decision they made to taking your stuff. We have been looking forward to connecting up with you, I have been leaving skype on to catch you online. We missed you tonight by barely an hour. Can't wait to talk again. Be care and keep the great entries coming!!
Nelson and Clyde I have enjoyed reading about all you exciting travels. I just thought that I would comment on 2 of the places you guys have visited, Nelson and Clyde. Isn't it fitting that the 2 beloved pets would be with you on your adventure?
Wow, what beautiful scenery you are seeing, rough and rugged coastlines and wonderful green rolling hills! I especially like to see all the green, since we still have at least a foot of snow to go.
Hell's Gate- I have to ask - is that the "ROAD" you were on in Tui in the Hell's Gate photo??? It is sideways, and looks like a goat path! I obviously have to step up my prayers
Furniture: Judging by the pancake sofa, it would seem like they build things there to go the distance- Childproof frame; washable wearever upholstery...
I wish I could have riden to school on one of those babies! Monster Truck school bus?!! That is just awesome, I don't know how we missed it! Totally sweet! Charlotte
Kids... grreat blog entry!! Wow is all i can say. Beautiful pics fo sure!! Bet it was nice to have a holiday from the van. That should keep ya going! Loved the comment on the smurf mushroom. So true! And finally my sweet Christina... happy belated brithday!! I suck.
