Why is it that sheep always sound like people pretending to be sheep?
Christina, I loved your skate-tastic video. Hope you are doing something ultra-cool for your birthday. Love you both.

Happy Birthday Ice Dancer! Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday, "Lil Ceeee-eeeeee"
Happy Birthday to you!
Hello Kirbs and Christina. I enjoy your blog - I am going to read it all in leiu of tv this weekend. Loved the skating video immensely!! Will you ever come back, do you think?
It looks like you are having a great time, and we are so happy for you guyz! I bet all that fruit is keeping you real "regular-like".
If you end up needingany extra socks, just give us a call and we'll send over a care package. Speaking of which, is there anything that you really miss that you just can't get over there (besides winter).
Have fun - we love you guys,
Karen and the boyz
Golem at Clyde Golem with a pb allergy, perhaps? Nice statuesque pose-your creativity never ceases to amaze me!
Your kitchen there is even more compact and handy than the traditional u shape classic - how will you ever settle for more?
Party on!
Steep !t's amazing to me that there is any street steeper than those in Burnaby, BC! But it really shows how steep it is by that one house on the right side of the road!
great blog! This is great that you are doing this. I must agree with Natalie that it really does help your freezing cold friends live vicariously through you. And what better way to live than vicariously?! So good to see you are having a great time. Not only great, but life altering, I'm sure. My jealousy abounds. Keep the posts coming.
Dreaming of a White Christmas? I'd say, "missing you, wish you were here", but that would be a great untruth. What I will say is, "missing you, wish I was There!" Is it just me, or do the cats have longish faces...could be the camera angle, or a breed? The chickens are great! As for the video - kept thinking C was driving, but K was holding the wheel :) Looks like you've adapted well; just zooming along there - what a luscious green view! A great blog - keep them coming!
Thanks for pictures and commentary I checked out three of your locations. Wow!!! Looks like an awesome experience. I was really glad to see your van, The last time I slept in a van (last summer with my mom) the mosquitoes drove us crazy....hint- close all windows and turn on air conditioning if needed...do you have mosquitoe problems there? Great pictures...keep sending...great you are meeting lots of friendly folk....Love, Mona
Lions and Giraffes and Tuis... oh my! That's quite the luck with the gas (mis)adventure and the battery... you must have been really tired to fall asleep with the lights on??? Appreciated the back of Tui photo - as well as the token Wellington... Definitely recognized the upside down Orion - strange. Can you see the big Dumper?
Merry Christmas While you are dreaming of a white Christmas we are experiencing it! There's a new layer of snow here in Regina. Congrats on that sportin' new van! I trust it will have a lot of great stories in no time! Merry Christmas, Everyone!
to the royal couple or.... It's very nice to meet your NZ family, and their home through your pictures. Seems like you were treated like royalty. I'm impressed with your van, looks like it's in great condition. Pretty driver too, learning so quickly to drive on the 'right' side of the road! I think one of those Canadian Prairie Sailors looks like he might be a pirate!
Hikin' Down the Possum Trail Wow, that is one awesome sunset from the treehouse! Can't believe how many big tropical trees are around their house. So neat. Re: Kirbs at the helm - is that a sunspot or is there a wierd capri / sock tan going on???
unbelieveable I don't think your new friends and the Chief would really understand what changing an alternator on the side of a northern alberta highway in December is like... and I think they are alright with that. What amazing visuals and experiences in Fiji!! Keep making memories and wear Moses's shirt with pride.
Wonderful to hear about your adventures and see the beautiful sights through your pictures! Looks like the weather was great after the threat of the storm. So glad you had some time to relax!
Kirby and Christina are excited to miss a winter in Canada. What better way than spending time in Fiji, New Zealand, and perhaps Australia!... full info
