The Pleasure of His Company Memory Images of Dr. Tinkle: Breakfast in Veranda with the resident priest; at the piano before sea-day morning Devotional; participation in Devotional; magnificent costumes at many events; gentlemanliness and courtliness on all occasions; ever present smile, no matter where or when. Because of these attributes and much more, like you, we would like to grow up to be like Dr. Tinkle - an inspiration in fine living. Our only regret re his birthday is that we weren't with all of you to celebrate this remarkable man. Happy 100th and wishes for more good times!
Happy Belated Birthday, Kevin! Hi there. Happy belated birthday, Kevin. Seems you were the trooper to emerge from your cabin, sick, and have a champagne toast. Really bummed to read about both of you getting a virus, but still managed to chuckle at your view of it all, i.e. a romantic dinner of chicken broth and ice water. You did manage to get a beautiful photo of you two in Sydney ... love that pic.
I love koala bears - they are the cutest to me, so when I was in Australia, I made the trip to the Koala sanctuary in Brisbane you mentioned. I was thrilled to hold a koala.
I'm getting ready to head out to ski now. The advanced guys (Glen, Mark, Andrew and Jack) are well ahead of me. I'll just putz around on the mountain for a few hours, and a few hours less than them.
All the Best,
Stephanie
Hi Susan and Kevin,
I don't know if you remember us - we're friends of Mike and Sandy Cannon and we met you in San Fran a number of years back. Sandy forwarded us one of your blogs and I've enjoyed reading these ever since. We took our first cruise last summer to the Baltic Sea countries and I am completely hooked! Our next cruise will probably be to Alaska or the Greek Isles. I was so sorry to hear of your on-ship illness. Nine days is a long time to be sick.
Keep the blogs coming - they're so much fun to read and have a great trip!

stomach flu Thanks for the updated blog. Sorry you were under the weather (sort to speak) Happy Birthday Kevin. See you in 21 days.
We are having beautiful cloudless very cool weather here in Hawaii. Very little rain (not a drop in almost three weeks)
Love to all Aloha Brooks
Tahiti Hi! Kevin and susan,
Thank you for sending your reports on Tahiti. The recent news on cyclone was astonishied. I was warried about the cruise but I am glad to hear that both you and the ship was all right. The cruise looks like a life of human. We have to have good and bad days through our whole life. That is why we can enjoy our life. Any how, we do hope early recovery of Tahiti and Tahiti people. Looking forward to hearing of your another exciting news. Masa and Miyoko
hello from Chile we are in Punta Arenas--the other side of the world--Charlie Gibson--ABC news is on as a passenger--weather balmy--50's--travel safe--regards to the Castrucci's and George and Mary Lou Hendrie---Bill K
Tahiti Your blog on Tahiti was wonderful. It is one of our favorite spots in all the world and you made us feel as if we were there with you. Thank you so much. Happy smooth cruising. Aloha Brooks
Bora Bora and Moorea Your descriptions make me relive fond memories of my favorite islands. I am so thrilled that you are enjoying the experience of French Polynesia once again (ala two months ago). I am still with chattering teeth in Sun Valley, skiing every day and hoping to get in shape for pickleball season, although So. America beckons in 3 weeks.
Thank you for including me in your emails. I enjoy living vicariously!

Blue Water We're overlooking beautiful blue water this weekend as well, but it's quite the different atmosphere compared to your blue water location. We're skiing in Tahoe ... Glen, Mark, Andrew and Jack are skiing together, the good skiers, that is, and I, the slow turtle, am on my own. Lots and lots of powder up here, but the lake is still blue and beautiful. Soak in some sunshine for us.
Did you two read our blog? Hi Guys.....glad you are safely aboard and on your way again. Did you read our comments to your last blog concerning how we had carefully saved the Voyager for you. We were aboard her during her Rio and Caribbean adventures...just before it left Ft. Lauderdale for California. Wish we could have stayed on, but 25 days was plenty. Have fun!!
Bon Voyage and good luck! Hi Kevin and Susan.
Just checked out your departure email out of San Diego. I have been in a TV Studio in LA for the past 10 days doing the first eight days of the Australian Open on Direct TV via Satellite. Sorry we weren't able to get together when you were back in Sausalito, but I know you were on the go and we (I) was here in LA doing the TV. Michele spent some more time with her Mom who is doing well. Your departure e-mail sounded very fired up with lots of enthusiasm for another world cruise. You two have it going, and we both wish you well for another exciting cruise adventure. We are headed up to Sausalito tomorrow. I have a few meetings and Michele will visit friends. Keep the blogs coming. Have a great one!!
Cheers, Bear and Michele
wonderful, can't wait to join you in Hong Kong We're so pleased that so many of the staff are still with the Voyager. We just got off the Mariner where rumors were to the contrary. They had Captain Dag on the World or going with Seabourn. See you all March 8th. Keep the ping pong table warmed up :-)
Have a great trip! Hey Uncle Kevin and Aunt Susan! I look forward to keeping up with your trip on here. That is really cool that you got to see Jay Leno! I really enjoyed him on the tonight show and was getting used to the transition of watching him at 10 and then watching Conan at 11:30. I guess I'll have to go back to my old ways now. I'm going to miss Conan. And The Beach Boys show must of been really fun. Be safe and take lots of pics! -Alex LaGraff
Your Birthday I just found out that i will be on the Voyager and I hope for your Birthday. It will be wonderful to see you again and enjoy your music in the mornings. See you soon good fellow.
