Hi Ken & Fi, great to see you're still traveling and suffering! After two months without internet access in my little studio in Santa Barbara, I finally got wired today. Tried to follow you with my iphone, but not much joy in that. I know it's a little late, and maybe premature for your next outing, but I have some unsolicited advice: Old Man Mountain racks, hand made in Goleta, CA. Keep pedaling and posting, I envy your adventure! ~Scott

Loving the blog so far, certainly makes me very enviable sat here looking out of the office window at the hustle and bustle below. Dad has a great Bear joke to accompany any bear spray stories....I'm sure he'll be more than happy to tell you it ....again! Glad you're finally well on your way and keep pedalling! Surprised that you're both finding it hard going though. I looked at the map today...it's downhill all the way!

A little about us: Ken grew up in the U.S. (near Boston, MA), while Fi was born in England (Shropshire) and lived there until 2010. We first met each other in Peru, quite by chance: Fi had been backpacking through South America for about 9 months and Ken was on a surfing vacation that went wrong. To make a long story bearably short, we met on a hiking trail near Machu Picchu and things took off from there. Now 14 years later, and after 9.5 years of marriage, we still share the same love of travelling and adventure. (By 'adventure' we mean riding our bikes for months on end or relocating to a n... full info
