Tahquitz Peak, Idyllwild, CA

After we finished riding in Las Cruces, NM, we rented a car and drove out to San Diego via Idyllwild. Perched in the San Bernardino mountains about 2-3 hours from L.A., Idyllwild is one of our favourite places to return to. This quiet town with warm days, cool nights, and wall-to-wall sunshine is a great place for anyone to rest and recharge.
Silver City to Palomas, Mexico... then to Las Cruces, NM

We made it to Mexico! Last Wednesday, after 2400 miles and 123,000 vertical feet of total ascent, Fi and I finally crossed the border from Columbus, NM into Palomas, Mexico.
