Seville Reading your Blog makes me want to go to Seville..!! And, it's only a 22 hour drive from us in Andover, Hampshire UK. So, I'm putting Seville on my Bucket List - thanks for all the lovely info.
Photos of Cathedrals and Churches in Europe I'm reading thru your wonderful Blog Jan & Jerry, and loving it. I started properly, at the beginning, and have just reached here. I know my help is a bit late with regard to Lisbon but, Mark and I have just had a wonderful weekend in Normandie, France and went to Bayeux and to the Cathedral there, and we took photos, as many others were doing so my guess is Europe in general are fine about pictures in Cathedrals and Churches, although I chose 'not' to use a flash as that seemed perhaps not quite the right thing to do. Hope that helps for your further adventures and picture taking! You look like you're having a ball and I'm so enjoying reading thru these pages and seeing your lovely photos.
Great appearing beach You have been away for one month and covered so very much ground and ocean. We look forward to your daily blogs. Nice photo of you Jan, it appears that there is a huge beach before you reach the ocean. I spoke with Suzie Etchart yesterday she is in pain with whatever is affecting her entire body. She says that she is allergic to wifi and all of the radio frequencies that are emitted from computer, smart phones and most electronic devices. The doctors think that she is "crazy:. I think that she is going to see a specialist in Portland next week and she has been spending weekends in G. Pas at her travel trailer there. Sheryl
Bulls It looks as if your time in Europe has been amazing so far! Portugal and Spain beautiful and are both places I have wanted to visit myself. You have had the Hemmingway experience of the bullfighting ring, but did you go during the correct time of year for the running if the bulls? I don't think so, but that would be something you would never forget...
Bullfight Wow, what an experience! You're so lucky you got tickets. I would have loved it. And to think the skimpy man-wear on the beach show was free! You two know how to travel.
Jewish quarter Sounds like such a neat experience! My sis says if you get the chance, that there is free flamenco place in the Jewish quarter worth seeing. Happy Mothers Day Jan!
What gorgeous views and towns! I am so happy for you; to see the countryside you are enjoying and the amazing and intimate small towns must be astounding in person. Loving every minute!
Madrone trees? Too bad you didn't find the brandy. Just for giggles and grins. Ask the Portuguese how to pronounce "madrone". :-). Sending fun. Janine xoxoxo
Wow! Wow, the pictures are wonderful! and why do the fishermen fish from SO HIGH UP? that would be a long way to pull up a fish!!! Keep having fun! and the pics coming!
Jose I hope Jose got a good tip...and I don't mean brilliant advice! Isn't it great to find helpful people along the way? The pictures are wonderful. Keep 'em coming!
Thank you It appears that you are getting some sun! How wonderful it is to read your daily blogs. We feel as though we are right there with you. You have a wonderful gift of writing such interesting and amusing blogs.

beach town Am enjoying your comments regarding your vagabonding. It is interesting that while you are quaffing beers, most of us are just enjoying our morning cup of coffee.
Enjoying your blog Hi, my friend! You are having such a great time, obviously! I have been very busy but still try to catch up with you here. Take good care and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime journey!!
We are ready to head out. Our first transatlantic cruise leaves Fort Lauderdale on April 12. After 11 days we disembark in Malaga, Spain and begin our travels around Europe. This is our first time there and we are anticipating with excitement all the new people, places and things we will be experiencing. The purpose of this blog is for family and friends to keep track of us. It also will serve as our own log of our travels. We hope to keep it interesting and pithy. ... full info
