Any snow there? ;) Well well, I forgot to mention some days ago that you have a perfect timing in case you really are here to see darkness, coldness and snow.. Tuesday will be the darkest day of the year, these are the first cold days this winter, and last night it has even snowed, at least here 12 kilometres north from where you are =) Happy I met you ;)
Stockholm You're the 4th person from Vancouver that I'v heard now say Stokholm is prettier than Vancouver...so I'll venture it's probably true!
Btw, great photos. You seem to have a talent for photography. Keep 'em coming.
(PS: On the subject of Sweden, are you relieved that the Swedes and Italians are in different groups in the 2006 World Cup? The Azzurri might actually have a fighting chance of advancing past the 1st round this time!)
HI J
Stockholm looks beautiful. I love the window shops and the architecture. Missed you last night at our xmas party, but there'll be more! Did you try out the ice rink...wobbly ankles? Did you meet up with any of Karolina's friends? Ciao for now. Don't be praying too much for cold, you might get more than you (or your supercoat) can handle! Love Bxoxoxo PS- mike appreciated the fisherman pic.
great shots! Hey Buddy,
Looks like you are having an amazing time, the pictures you have taken are beautiful. Enjoy your holiday and I hope you see some snow (make up for not being in Whistler this year;)
excellent photography absolutely stunning photos J. Oh.. do you know the difference between a crocus and a hyacynthe. Hint..the latter smell quite beautiful and are grown in pots with very little soil..just like the specimens in your photos.
Glad to hear that you did not miss the boat!
kilts Jason, it is my belief that all men look wonderful in a kilt and obviously you are no exception. I have been to St Andres and to Edinburgh and you comments and photo's brought back very fond memories. I love your "blog" and eagerly look forward to each installment.
Great Pics Ok, you are making me very jealous! Glad to hear that you are having a good time. The photos are fab - what's with the shorts? Is it that warm?
claiming my victory! Edinburgh is absolutely stunning! Gotta get out there and visit...
For all those curious minds who are dying to know who won the bocce game - let me just say that JDV 'conveniently' left that detail out of his last blog. I guess the humiliation of defeat would have been too great!
I am SO IMPRESSED that you actually rented a car AND DROVE on the opposite side (mostly). You are really going for the full experience. Good on you!!! (-: Vanessa
Hi JJ! Well, I'm living vicariously through Del Vicario...and loving every minute of it indeed! Everything looks and sounds so amazing! Can't wait to hear more. Take care my dear!
Nice Bocce So who won the Bocce?
Looks like Paul Martin plays bocce too... "Prime minister Paul Martin, played the official Italian bocce ball game with some members of the Montreal Italian communuty." -- Quebec Press, photos at http://www.quebecpress.com/pm-italians/
Bocce and Buckingham... hi there, wow, that photo of you guys playing bocce in front of Buckingham palace was quite the Kodak moment! Gotta put that on the bocce.ca website! looks like you are having fun!
so many good things about london.... luckily london has great restaurants and pubs housed in jewels of architectural wonder...helps to get over the daily hassles! Truly, the city is a vibrant and dynamic cosmopolitan arena that is kind to those with survival instincts... while others tend to just fall by its waistside or bridge or subway platform - or is that pushed? Whatever...
Conor! Dress him up in a suit, but you still see the mark of the devil glinting in his eyes! It's a long way from Quilchena to Dublin, but I gather not too much has changed ;)
Hello from Vancouver Hey there! These blogs are so exciting. The photos really bring them to life! Have a great time in London - if you can, try to fit in a trip to BIRMINGHAM England! hahaha.
I am a 29 year old financial advisor from Vancouver, Canada. The thought of being in -30C weather in southern Siberia excites me so I'm going to check it out. I endeavour to share some of the more colourful experiences with family, friends & clients. I will attempt to NOT be an annoying traveller posting loads of pointless stories but rather will try to update this once from every place I've visited. I also anticipate being able to share lots of photos... a photo is worth a 1000 words so 'they' say. Cheers.... full info
