Wow Hi M, what an amazing blog. I loved the way you wrote it, I really felt like I was there. Or, more precisely, 'I really felt (grateful that I) was (not) there'! Sounds incredible though and I love the photos. I can't believe you think motorbikes are dangerous though, at least I'm in control and don't have someone else shifting gears for me. Blimey. And great to see Grug, I suppose he moved out from Australia too. Love TC
AMAZING Photos This is truly off the beaten track and clearly a unique experience gained only by your friendship with others. The images are superb, and actually, you look pretty darn good sans makeup .xxxxx

AMAZING Namaste Apsara Beverley,
Have just been drooling over this wonderful blog. Have read it a couple of times. Your photos are gorgeous and I want a pinkie ring too! Buy a Lonely Planet.?? Darling you are writing your own : truly you have a story to tell..inspiring for ordinary people who will only ever have the courage to dream your reality. Can't see you living in Adelaide anymore.Perhaps a private tour guide is your vocation..I'll come. Special love Sue
PHOTOS Hi Buffy,
Back to the land of the living - otherwise known as reality!
It was great to see my sister in Perth last week and of course to be home again with Peter and the cats! I had a fabulous time and keep thinking of the ashram - I will definately return there again and thanks for introducing me to it!
All is fine at home - Peter went and purchased a treadmill, so we have no excuse for morning walks! The weather has been really cold and wet - a far cry from 42oC in Delhi!!!! I met the most incredible people on my last night in Delhi and will send a separate email detailing what happened - another "Cowra co-incidence!"
Take care, I am guessing you are in Nepal now?
Kxx
Namaste Oh this is truly wonderful. The images are divine. I love them all but especially the temple bells in the forest. Did you plan all this dear girl, or have you just wandered onto the road least taken?Either way you are clearly reaping the rewards. Look forward to more. Special love

Anak Anak Bali Hi,
I really enjoyed your blog. We have been and visited this orphange every time we go to Bali and will be going there again in the next couple of weeks. I am so impressed at the work these people are doing for these gorgeous kids. When we visit the kids are so happy and polite, smiles all round.
Its so easy for us Australians to help these people. Instead of taking our empty suitcases - fill em up with clothes toys boys bedding - things we have finished using (but are still nice). These things mean so little to us but mean such a lot to them. And if we want to go one step further have a look at their wishlist.
Its soooooooooooooo easy to help and you will benefit when you meet these kids.

Hi Buffy. Good to see you are enjoying yourself. The tea plantations look very familiar....maybe you could collect some new teapots! Well...thats what we will do when we return to taiwan...go to Jingko and buy teapots....(don't ask why) I think the hairy looking fruit is a swan bush pod. When they are ripe they have seeds inside and lots of fluffy fibre...makes you sneeze. We are ok. Today is Easter Sunday and we are going to a Thai restaurant at Blackwood to celebrate mum's birthday. We are still battling cleaning out dad's stuff and trying to restore order and its taking so long. When all thats done mum can sell up. But so much stuff!!!! Take care Buffy babe, Love from the fat controller and the adorable Ming xxx
meeting you and Brenton at anak anak What a pleasure it was to meet you both, and the children, at Anak Anak in March.
Your blog comments are so true and we will be supporting Brent as much as we can, particularly encouraging Australians to become more aware of the good work both of you do, and to "carry for kids" when tourists travel over there'
So appropriate is your explanation about seeing "happy and healthy children". Having recently been scammed for $2000-00 by one Balinese orphanage I now will be more aware of where I place my donations and time

Mike and Isobel? Buffy...what a wonderful experience! But although you waxed lyrical about the delights of Bali, Nyepi, the Ogoh-Ogohs and Bali's beautiful people you have forgotten a couple of things already. First the Festival fringe is on, starring V8 snarling motor cars, electronically illuminated North terrace, culminating in...wait for it....next saturday's State election starring media Mike and Isobel Redmond. Now that puts it all into perspective doesn't it! When you look at the Ogoh Ogohs, Mike, Isobel and Rob Lucas I KNOW which is more scary! Our love tou you you lucky lady xx The fat and crippled controller and the lovely Ming.
Poetry Very profound Beverley. Did you write the poem? Enjoy your journey but don't forget the 'roots' and earth that made you grow into a lovely tree!!
FROM A FELLOW TREE ....oh my dear Beverley, you have hit the nail right on the head....
What I love, I love,
What I seek, I seek,
Where I go, I go,
Who I meet, I meet,
Everything is as it should be,
I am living my life and am free.
....I like being a tree too! I don't always crave other people's company - and the most interesting people that I have met are usually when I have travelled alone.
Take care and keep growing pushing out new growth - let your leaves unfurl my dear!

your ideas Beverley, I loved reading your thoughts about solitude, knowledge, wisdom and peace. They seem very profound to me and I can certainly relate to them. I so enjoy reading about what you have been doing, keep on keeping on.
What I love, I love,
What I seek, I seek,
Where I go, I go,
Who I meet, I meet.
Everything is as it should be.
I am living my life and am free.
I think this chorus could easily become a mantra for many wonderful people I know! Very well put Ms Garrett.
Ciao,
Karen in KL x
