A home is a home Hi Heather,
Your home is the best place whereever you are to get back and relax. Congrats on your new house, it appears pretty good. It looks you have taken utmost care in the planning and utilisation of space.
Wish you all the very best to you and all at home.

Road trip #5 - here we come! I will forward this to Jackie to see if we should do this for our annual road trip next year!! What do you think?
The pictures are so very beautiful and what an experience to see that side of the Grand Canyon, I was swept away from viewing it at the south rim!! All that hiking, wow, and you always complain when I park far away from stores!!!
Mooney Falls It all looks beautiful. I think I would have passed on the climbing down to Mooney Falls part, though. I like the idea of getting out in a helicopter!
Brilliant! Hiya Heather :)
I love your blogs, I'm still an avid reader! This trip sounds fantastic, I remember you told me about it back in March/April while I was still in the UK. I wish I could have made it :( But I started working here and have to go back to reality... Your pics are awesome (as always!). Can't wait for your next adventure ;) xxx
Very Nice Colorado does have an awful lot of beautiful places. Some of your photos look almost like paintings. Did you do something to make them look that way?
silverville... well, it got pretty cold!! in the 30's.
and there were so many towns at the time named after silver at the time, the founding fathers decided to call it Leadville, because the silver was mined in a heavy carbonate of lead.
Cool Place Leadville looks and sound really great. I want to go there. A town at over 10,000 ft! How cold did it get at night? And, why don't they call it Silverville?

Simply superb Hi Heather,
As usual yuor blogs are good and this one has really good snaps ! Your english is pretty good, may be because you speak at home and its your local language. We speak TAMIL at home and have learnt English at school. You know we speak 35 different languages in India and have over 2300 dialects !
I do improve mine reading your blogs ,no jokes.
My daughter also reads your blgos and amazed at the snaps . In one of the blogs the apartment photo, your home and your swimming place are too good. She wants me to build a same like that !
Well there are many of your blgos i have to still read, keep posting and I shall read all of them.

Beautiful pics Wow, your pics are just breathtaking. I especially liked Bear lake, since I also was just there and found Alberta Falls a great place to hike to.
ahh memories heather your pics of CO remind me of my week in Estes. I miss it soo much. I'm glad you're enjoying the weather and outdoors there. have you gone to celestial seasonings yet? I think you get free tours of there warehouse. you'd have to check their website to be sure though. ttyl
Smart Companies Care I agree with you. Retired from many years in business, I believe that employees that know they are valued produce at a higher level and serve customers better. All of which translates to higher profit levels.
Amazing History These pictures are so cool. All of the ancient buildings and art really make me wonder how long our country and culture will last. And, is there anything we've built that will be here 500 or 1000 years from now??? Not a lot outside of maybe Washington, D.C.
Michelangelo and the Pope Everything about Michelangelo completely blows my mind. How could one person have the talent and the ambition to do all the things he did?
On the Pope, he is the direct descendant of the process that created an unbroken line of heads of the Catholic Church starting with St. Peter. All Christian religions are offspring of the Catholic Church.
People praying to saints do not put them ahead of God. As the most pious of all christians, saints are prayed to to intervene or help your prayers get to God.
What a Day! "What a day" was the first thing that came to my mind. How incredible to see all of this in one day. The architecture and engineering is tremendous. How about all of the structure below what was the floor of the Colisseum? Your pictures made me wish I could remember more of my high school latin. Are you sure the water from the aqueducts is good to drink? Knowing you, I'm sure you knew.
I really want to go to Rome now. I hope to see many of the places you've been.
Tower Picture Oh yeah, one other thing. I wish I were there to take that picture of you holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I would have gotten it right!

We shall not cease from exploration, And the end of all our exploring, Will be to arrive where we started, And know the place for the first time." -T.S. Elliot
I have a passion for traveling... experiencing new cultures, seeing amazing architecture and landscapes, and trying new food. I also like to learn from observing and listening to the people I meet along the way and hopefully make a few new friends.
2014 - I've been pretty quiet on Travelblog for a while...living in my childhood house, going to grad school and working 2-3 jobs at the same time didn't leave much fun ... full info
