Irresistable Just could not resist comment here. What a fabulous place Fraser Island is. and what intrepid adventurers you three were there. Dingos sea eagles and long swims, I don't call that 'roughing it 'Rob! I think sitting in Cornwall in january looking out a fantastic blue sea, sun and coastline in a force 12 gale and -3 temperatures i have not yet wished to be with you quite so fervantly. I am thoroughly enjoying reading your Oz epistles as one whole. More later....many thanks for such enjoyable evocative writing. Love M

Flies Great blog, and its true you have to have experienced the flies trying to get into every orifice to truely know how crazy it makes you.
We spent six months in Oz last time but when I think back now its west coast I think about, driving down the coast and enjoying the unbelievable beaches and sights and most of all the days we were truely alone to enjoy this amazing part of the world.

The flies Your story made me laugh because of all the flies. We were shocked and amazed how many there were and how annoying they were. Thanks for the memory.
would you recommend a boat cruise Hi, I read your blog , we are planning a trip in May and am undecided about doing a cruise or spending time seeing another area perhaps, would you say it is a definite trip to do in China or would recommend seeing something else instead.

:) This entry reminds me so much of our time in Perth...
Many hours trawling ads and Gumtree, wandering all over the city looking at pieces of overpriced junk masquerading as viable transport options... You've found your wheels though so now the adventure starts!
Which way are you planning to go? We went via Darwin and the top end, but we have plans to return and continue where we left off in Sydney crossing the Nullarbor. Good luck and safe travels...
Mike.
Great memories There seems something magical about this little place, something real and you leave with a smile that lasts forever. We are back in the uk these days and when im having bad day i just drift of and think of Derewan and the smile appears. Thank you for reminding us how beautiful this hidden little gem is. Great blog guys

The picture of you together is awesome - It's Movember here for charity Lewi so I think you should try a Moustache for solidarity. I have been reading your stories for over a year now and still can't get enough! The closer I get to 30 the more I want to jack it all in and follow in your awesome steps!
Keep enjoying it x
