Today was a great day. In the morning I took my sister to a great local restaurant for breakfast named Chuck Wagon. The breakfast was great and the company was better. Enjoyed catching up with my sister over a hot breakfast. Shortly after leaving Chuck Wagon, my sister and I drove to Greenfield, MA to make a surprise visit to my Dad and his Hot Dog cart. More to come on this. While driving to Greenfield, we drove north on I-91 until we reached Holyoke. We exited the freeway because there were delays due to construction. We drove on Route 5 north past some memory maker sites. First we passed the a New England favorite, Yankee Pedlar (http://www.yankeepedlar.com/). While in college I worked in the Simone's restaurant at the bottom of the restaurant. Still a beautiful ... read more

Well my trip to Boston started with a twist. American Airlines cancelled my flight to Boston from Houston (IAH) via Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW). As always, they rebooked me quickly and I will able to fly out today, however I will arrive 3 hours later. This is just part of traveling. My flights to Boston we good. The flight from IAH to DFW was very warm. Just before landing the plane finally cooled to a comfortable level. The trip from DFW to Boston (BOS) was great. The service was fantastic and the flight crew was very professional. What about that cranberry oatmeal cookie? Man was that good, no seconds allowed. Darn. Once arriving in Boston I rented my National rental car. As always, the service was great. I was able to rental a Ford Escape, only had ... read more

A very productive day at our office today in Uniondale, NY. It was great seeing everyone in the office. Everyone is super nice. Met with two of the managers and had two great meetings. After work this evening I drove to the beautiful town of Long Beach, NY (follow on Twitter @LongBeach11561). This is a small ocean town on the south shore of Long Island. To the north of the town I believe is Middle Bay and to the south is the Atlantic Ocean. The distance between both bodies of water appears to be 1 mile. This small town is full of small beach town homes with beautiful and inviting exterior facades. In between the homes are small family owned businesses and restaurants. I ate dinner a really great Italian restaurant in Long Beach. It is ... read more

We arrived in Galveston this afternoon. What a great place to visit. The town is full of people on July 4th weekend. I do not think I have seen that many people driving on Seawall Blvd before. It is so good to see people returning to Galveston after the awful Hurricane, Hurricane Ike. This evening we are going to Tortuga Mexican restaurant on Seawall Blvd. They have the best Mexican food I have ever had. For now, we are enjoying drinks on the balcony of my inlaws condo overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and watching the Seagulls flying in the gusty winds.... read more
