I'm JUST now getting to read this, I know I am slow but I am going back through and reading everything haha. My dad was telling me all that shit about New Zealand being dangerous haha. OH well Seattle is bad enough it will face an overdue eruption that will devistate all, overdue huge ass quake, lahars, tsunami, and all that fun stuff as well haha.
Go Girl Go No one's one the cup yet, it's still going on but it doesn't look good for Edmonton. Father's day is actually the 18th. Yeah! You might make it in time for camping on Labour Day Weekend!
very cool glad you experienced a rugby game. the vibes from the crowds cannot compare to hockey or anything else here that I have attended. They say the crowd at rugby is a lot like the crowd at a soccer game at home, and I have been there so I know how exciting it is!
Beautiful pics. you're not missing much here, it's raining a lot and it's been 15 or lower, not very warm yet
Miss u
Jo
Whew! Hey Tara! I've had a ball catching up with your wonderful trip! You've now officially seen more of my country than me! ;)
Did you go to the rugby on Friday? Was it fun? It was bloody freezing that night too!
fiji or oz well, i'd have to ask...
which is the most different?
Do you expect to see massively different landscape and culture in Fiji, or Australia, from New Zealand?
I'm not really sure about either, in comparison... just from what I've sort of seen in passing.
ie, Fiji seems really tropical and more like a vacation spot... Gorgeous and hot (could be wrong) seems like lots of palm trees, gorgeous beaches, etc... http://www.bulafiji.com/index.cfm?go=main.adventure
Australia, though again, i could be wrong, seems more like New Zealand... ?
Let us know your thought process on this, for sure. :)
Sorry about the weather Sorry about the weather you are having.... You know patio season is starting at home. Hint hint. Miss yeah glad your having a good time

the pictures are great Tara. thanks. I looks like you are having an awsome time. and just so you know winter has returned to ontario. at least for now. Missing you lots.
what's that word? Togs = bathing suit (or "swimmers")
Trundler = no clue!
Capsicum = sweet peppers
Torch = flashlight
Jandles = dunno
The ones I did know aren't specific to NZ, the Aussies and/or brits use the same slang. Live with an Aussie for a year, you'll hear some f'ed up stuff!
Yayy! that's amazing! (loves trees) You should go to the Sequoia forest when you come back. They're huge too! Yeah, you havent updated in awhile.... of course, you have lots of things to do. :)
