Wow~ Sarah, I painted a mural of the Taj Mahal when i was in high school for a local indian restaurant. It took us a year and an entire wall.... but we could never do it justice. I can't believe you've actually been there, how amazing! I am so jealous!~ <3
Celebration at the ghats Love your photos and videos. However, I'm not really sure what the celebration at the ghats was about. What was being celebrated? Also, were they Budhist monks with the bells and incense?
Beautiful and Stunning Wow, this is really an incredible sight. The colors and the scenary is just really fun and fascinating to look at. You should post more videos like this because they are so exciting
China Beach Love the photo of the two of you on China Beach. Your dad spent a lot of time enjoying China Beach during his Vietnam tours. No high rises or tourists then.
Love your photos!!!! So wonderful to see that you enjoy taking photos of flowers as much as I do. These orchid photos are amazing. What a relaxing and enjoying garden!
LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN! WE ARE ALL REALLY JEALOUS, YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE HAVING A BLAST, BUT WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THE GUTS TO DO THE BAMBOO LADDERS. LOVE YA - JB, EB & KB
Michael and Sarah Love all the photos of the two of you. Please don't forget to include photos of the exterior and interior of your accommodations. It helps to know what $30 equates to, etc. in the areas you stay. Won't be long before the two of you are super tanned! We love you both. Enjoy your time together..
Tuk Tuk Away! Love your video Sarah! More videos please. It helps us feel closer to you both. Looks like you two are having fun and becoming beer connoiseurs. At least you know it's safer to drink beer than water. Ha. Ha. Any chance you can send us one of the Budhas that white kitty was sitting next to. They are really nice. Love to you both..
Preparation is everything I love the fact that you are showing how to pack light and practical. When Liz and I packbacked Italy last spring we also had the 50 litre bags. Perfect size for prolong wear and excellent as a carry on. Many airlines still allow the free carry on, yet charge for other luggage. Not only does the backpack save money when flying, it's also the only way to travel when walking is involved. Uneven ground and stairs don't work for most wheeled luggage, but is never an issue for a backpacker! Super smart to pack the zip-off pants as it gives you each extra shorts.
