A traveling we will go Hi Ed and Michelle: Thanks for the great photos again. You got to love those markets. Not much happening here except working a few days without pay and thinking when would be the best time to retire this year. Vietnam looks great to visit from what I can tell. Enjoy your last few days. Grant
India What Color Hi Ed and Michelle: Glad you are enjoying yourselves and again in the future I will be consulting. I love the colors too and imagine the smells in the markets with the spices would be nice. Not much else to say with Fat Cheeto not wanting to end the shutdown. The costs are piling up because of this idiocy and tantrum the three year old in a 73 year old body is throwing. McConnell is also responsible but he is so twisted he will do what Trump and Fox News wants. Have fun in Hanoi. Grant
Keep on trekking Not much to say except I like the name of Fat Cheeto for Trump. No work yet and who knows when??? The idiocy continues and as Fat Cheeto hates federal workers he put a freeze on a COLA. I say carry on and enjoy yourselves like you usually do. Grant
Asia it is. Hi Ed and Michelle: I was telling my friend in northern Illinois how much you get around and then you are on the road again which should be your life's theme song. I haven't figured out how to see the photos but at least I get the text. Thanks for the update and enjoy the adventure again which you seem to do. Grant
Iceland YOU Will Go! Once again the masters of travel continue. I just went to a bluegrass festival a whopping 50 miles away. I did have fun though and heard some great music. Iceland is on my list. It looks like you generally lucked out with the weather and again took some great photos. WOW airlines I might have to check out. Keep on Truckin!!! Grant
Balloon landing!,, Wow how did you stay in your seats in the basket since it lands sideways. We have taken a few balloon rides and never landed that way
A Flying you will go I never considered a balloon ride but who knows? I wonder what the track record is for safety. You wouldn't want to crash among a herd of lions. Where to next? You guys keep pushing the barometer for travel. Grant
Safariing you will go! Refresh my memory but what part of Kenya is this and what did this safari cost? Great photos. I am guessing Michelle is using the same camera as she has had for awhile. Where to next? Grant
On the Road Again I was thinking of sending an email wondering how the summer was going and now you are traveling again. How many miles have you logged on airplanes? Rwanda sounds nice. Great gorilla photos and that is a close one of Michelle and the silverback. Same old business for me waiting for a settlement as it is in another phase of trying to get a medical lien reduced. I finally get paid for my bike and insisted they send the check separate which they finally did. Avoid lawyers at all costs. Where are you off to after Rwanda? I hear good music to keep me sane as the challenges continue. I figure next May that will be it as this whole settlement was a determining factor in me staying longer. I liked the bird photos as well as you had to have gotten fairly close. Be safe on the road. Grant
Wine Wine Wine It looks like another great trip. I get exhausted thinking about the planning. Lovely photos as usual. Happy and safe travels on your return. Grant
Great Photos! Hello Michele and Ed, I want to hide in your suit case and go with you guys! Beautiful Mirror Lake was amazing. Fun to see your travels. I'm happy you both are loving life!!
Take Care my friends
Life's Mantra Great photos as usual. I sound like a broken record. I did like in particular the symbiotic relationship shot, the hector dolphin, the dolphins jumping, parrot in the wild, the southern alps was wonderful and the sperm whale. Did you stumble upon Punakaki accidentally or was that stay planned? How many people can say that you know that you experienced 7 a.m three different times. New Zealand will be high on my list and a combo trip like you did might be the way to go. Grant
Lovely New Zealand Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. Southern NZ is one of the most beautiful land we have ever seen. We enjoy your travel log. You guys are amazing travelers. Thanks thanks thanks.
Love those mountains As usual lovely photos and inviting country. I love the lavender fields being purple is one of my favorite colors. How is the exchange rate in New Zealand for the dollar? Keep on truckin! Grant
Eat your kiwi's. I love the photo of the bird with he black and blue neck. Can't say I have seen one. As always great photos and clever negotiating. Grant
