They are off and walking. Hi Ed and Michelle: Glad you were able to get the replacement passport and hit the road. Sounds like a great adventure and will look for future blogs. I head to Hawaii Friday which will be a big deal for me my first flight since 2017. Have fun and enjoy the vistas and the wine. GW
Buen Camino... you should arrive in Santiago before the cold weather takes over. I look forward to reading about you Camino. I have other TB friends currently in Portugal, but they are taking a river cruise and enjoying food an wine.
Olive Oil So many olive trees and only 2 out of 6 liters of olive oil will see the US!! That’s worse than having to throw away 2 bottles of wine in the Amsterdam airport.
Beautiful Adventure I was enjoying your post and pictures and then …….. the olive story…… so sad. So happy you are enjoying your trip, Patti and a Doug and in your element! Take care. Xoxox
Olive Oyl again! At least you got some of your olive oil to the next stop. Looks pretty nice to me all of what you have seen. I liked the snail and the unusual flower you saw. Enjoy your travels. What is next on your agenda? GW
I loved my visits to Crete... Your blog reminded me of that great times and good food that I enjoyed there. Since then I've discovered that several of my ancestors died in Chania on their crusade to the Holy Land.
Glad you're having such a beautiful time on your 1st POST-COVID trip! We had a great time with everyone at Tim's but we're so sorry to miss seeing you and Ed!
Whew! I must tell you, I was a bit tired after reading your blog. Sounds like considering all,the circumstances, you did great. Sorry about the passports, but it wasn’t sure money and cc’s. Stay safe. Xoxox
On the road again Hi Ed and Michelle: Glad you went for it though it seems like you have little room for error and need to be prepared. For now I will stick to stateside which is moving slowly. I am thinking more small festivals in Wisconsin in August. And a few side trips in the states but in the midwest. How long will you be on the road? I am focusing on dealing with neck issues and overall health as found an acupuncturist who with one appointment did help my calf muscle some but more to be done. Sorry you had the passports stolen as you were targeted for sure. Are you going anyplace else after Greece? Keep me posted and have fun. Grant
Congratulations! Good Morning ed and Michelle,
While I'm sure it's not morning for you I sure hope things are going well! What an experience that trip must have been, sure makes for great stories to tell.
Take care, have fun and stay well,
Cheers,
Lynn
Aaaah, travel again Wow, you guys did not waste any time getting back at it. Good for you. How long are you away for? I head off on my biggish bike race in a couple weeks. I pass through Idaho but up near the Tetons.
Rockin in the Southwest Good stuff as usual. Glad you are getting out and seeing some of Utah and Colorado. I once interviewed for a job at City of Rocks which has duel management. Didn't get it as the guy thought I was too seasonal in my work at that time. I should check it out. Have fun and stay safe. Same goes at Shenandoah which has had too many people and too many incidents and even some deaths at places I used to supervise from careless hikers. Have fun. Grant
