I agree with Aunt AG! I would love to see some pictures of your work life! I can't wait to see you next time you are in Columbia to watch some football!
Our first blog reading Henry the 8th!!!! Our first blog studied at a technology workshop - my friend Janet is so impressed - she is breathless at your pictures. The photos are beautiful. She had never seen a blog before. Safe travels!
i like the sea lions too. they look like my dog when he sleeps. also, i like the grass. that beach looks really great - natural but with man-made structures. neat!
Surfing Hang ten, dude! That looks awesome! Wish I could have been there to surf, too. You actually look like you're doing pretty well in the picture....at least you're still ON the board and not faceplanting in the water which is where I would be. Awesome pictures again! I like the one with the sea lions underneath the boardwalk. Cool....
I need to get out more often I forget sometimes how many fun things there are to do around here. The Olympics are awesome but I never go there. The Hoh river looks good, and you are lucky it didn't rain. Last time I drove through there the second I saw the sign that said Hoh Rainforest it started pouring.
:-) oh yay, you got to see Ben!!! tell both of yourselves that we in Springfield miss you guys. it's funny, we have some near-exact pictures...only there are a lot more people, a lot more sun, and a lot more boats in yours. i like Chicago. if you are still there or going back, there is a place a few streets over from the Hilton (east from Michigan and south of the library with the big green statues on top) called Pacific Gardens Mission - on Saturday (?) they tape a Christian radio show and show you around the mission and invite you to hear some gospel and eat some free food. it's an amazing place.
tailors name greetings.
we are going there, could you please supply the tailors name, and any helpfull information.
thank you. des

that dolphin swimming looks like fun! that's on my List. i'm kinda jealous. also, i would have loved to see that pottery place! (btw, the "roundtable" is just called a "wheel" ;-) i hope you have good travels home - see you in Springfield sometime!
congrats to your family all around. that's exciting!
also, in Haiti they had broken glass along the tops of walls too! minus the strings of lights...that's a great picture. very abstract-y. nice job, Henry Gabriel.
Duckie and Paddington seem to have recovered quite nicely from the trip to Dublin. I don't know that you should let Kai play with them, they aren't a very good influence!!
Statue The statue of Abraham Lincoln in London reminded me that there is a big statue of Churchill in Fulton, Missouri--about 30 miles from Columbia! It is on the grounds of a chapel which they moved from England and rebuilt here, and there is a Churchill museum in it.
London comments You're forgetting one important part of the equation---every city a guy and his horse....and SWORD! Don't forget! Too bad you didn't ride the London Eye. That seems like a lot of fun and might have been a good photo op, but I understand why you didn't in the interest of time. Love the pictures of Duckie and Paddington by Big Ben and Buckingham Palace---they're really starting to look natural at this whole traveling thing!
Brit Land I like the added historical information and links....very cool. Gives us a little bit more feeling of being there, being able to learn more, etc. Thanks again for great pictures, too!
WOW Wow Henry you've been very busy!! I finally was able to get on and check out all the days that I've missed, and they have been very eventful! I wish I had gotten your call earlier in the week, but I did hear it ring. I'm looking forward to when you get back!! I know that Gus is pumped about you coming to Bahrain!
I enjoy traveling... meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, seeing amazing architecture and landscapes, and trying new food. I also like to learn from observing and listening to the people I meet along the way and hopefully make a few new friends.... full info
