Now we are left with only vivid memories of Singapore. An amazing place, we especially remember the warm wind, the high-level garden joining two skyscrapers at the 50th floor (and overhanging them), the floral streets, the Grand Prix circuit, the view of third-world Indonesia just across the water and the lively parties under the canopy at Clarke Quay - who says Singaporeans don't know how to party! We were also delighted to meet Kate Drewer (Anne Pither's daughter) and her small children for coffee just before we left. They also seemed delighted with the place. Now, we've dragged ourselves up to KL, still suffering Jet Lag but gradually improving. Quite different, but just as hot, especially in the stifling Bus Station yesterday.
