Here's to lazing. I think lounging and mooching about are both very Moroccan undertakings. And I love rooftops, and wish we had more available where we live. Roof views are the best. Of course, it would all be better if you were wearing your new djellebah.
Boulders! Those painted boulders are so wacky. "Ah look, some boulders. I think I will paint them." Glad you are meeting cool travellers on your jaunt. Annalyn and Pedro and I will have to go on a trip together some time and post blog posts for you to read. We will note all the breakfast items.
Having a good time! Hope you enjoying Morocco. Now on your on, but looks like you making friends along the way. I think the painted rocks have a shade of brown now, with your belly troubles....good to know you keeping clean undies! Good photos. Safe travels.
You could still draw us a picture I liked the Premier Inn: purple LED lights on the headboard! Now that is a classy concept.
I do not know what the usual breakfast is, but I like that you met the Mafia.
In Tangier w/my son, we were shown the upstairs of a Mint Tea Restaurant, which was where the women went to sit. But when I conveyed in bad French that my son had not yet eaten, they immediately fussed over him like it was a national crisis, and brought him a grilled cheese sandwich.
I would like to propose formally that you purchase a djellebah; it would be the ticket for lounging back in Leeds, and comfy for all your upcoming long bus rides, for sure. And so stylish! And forgiving.
Oh my!! I have only just realised that I’ve been writing my messages in the title box!! Such a bozo! Heigh ho. Better just keep it down to sending love and hope next stage goes well. Am enjoying the trip. Love A xx
Virtual shopping Love the pics. Ma is debating what is in the mud bricks in the Kasbah. I said mud. She said poo. Mucky fossil. The sky looks a lovely blue. I'm wondering what was in the Kasbah? Also what did Michael find in the Berber market? Virtual shopping experience please. Love from Gordy and me, and the (naughty) fossils xxxxxx
Hi Roz, the mud bricks speak for themselves, although contain straw for strength. There is no poo involved. The Kasbah is mainly taken up with 2 posh hotels. We just walked through it on a lane without shops, but with beautiful gardens for the hotels on our right. Michael said the market was rubbish - we haven't bought anything here.... yet!
