Wow - tigers! Glad to hear all ok - and they are fab photos of tigers. How lovely to see some.
Tell Esmee that she'll have to tell me all about it when she gets back. And if she's lucky I'll smack her face! (a private joke - for those who don't know me or Esmee!)
Oh dear! There seem to be slightly too many blogs containing "then the nightmare began" !!!
Hope that the bits in between the nightmares are making it worthwhile!
It's India alright Sounds more like a adventure than nightmare. At least no complaints about health issues. Enjoy every moment and see you in the new year
India Wow Richard just caught up with all your new entries (don't take that the wrong way!) So what happened with Mal and the transvestite? Are the kids going to live off chips or are you going to tempt them to eat something else? Negotiating taxis for five people sounds like the biggest stress point in your travelling. Anyway sounds like you are handling the situations well. x
Wow indeed! Hi Ant, there are 6 of us + luggage. Have booked 3 porters for tomorrow + 3 tuk-tuks,just hope that's enough. Have e-mailed our Jungle guy to make sure he sends a large enough taxi to fit us all in at 1am! Today the kids ate better - see latest blog. If it's really cold over there Ant, can you check my water is turned off? If it's not coming out of cold tap then all is OK, if it is then please turn stop-cock located near cellar window (all light switches are near kitchen entrance, just turn all on to enter cellar. Thanks mate, will sleep easier knowing I'm not flooded out...
India Hi Dick
Well you are having an eventful trip so far
I hope everyone is feeling better
The blog is great reading and looking forward to the next episode.
Love to everyone and stay safe.

Nice bike! Excellent Enfield! You are in a never-ending drama, it seems. Here we had several inches of snow yesterday, falling all day and dusting the trees and houses into picturesque postcards (in a city riven with 25% deep poverty --- bit of snow, you'd never know). In the evening I drove 3 college pals to see another college pal and her band play original rock music at a club way out in the suburbs. Wonderful show! They all drank Manhattans all evening, and I had diet soda. I am the driver and I charge zero rupees. Hope you are all feeling better soon.
India Hi Richard, well it sounds like all your planning is paying off because most of your grumbles are about delays in travelling rather than an anything you have overlooked. Although you really should have warned Mal about procedures in case of sinks falling off walls. Hope the Delhi pollution doesn't stop play - I know it won't stop consumption of mind altering substances. Hope you are enjoying it. x
On the way! Sounds like you’re having an interesting time.
What cool names are Esmee and Rocco!
Take care with those interesting smoking products!
Have fun and keep safe.

Good to hear! Well - an eventful start - but at least you're all safe. Well, apart from Mal's foot.
Hope things are continuing to go well now that you've all begun to adjust. Love to everyone. x
Bravo -- will you eat curried chilis this time? I read these out of order, so I have an idea who the people are now. The cast is becoming apparent! Looking forward to all the blog posts.
Arrived! I hardly noticed you'd departed! Glad all arrived safely. You should introduce the cast now. (Usually it is just you and whatever local character you pair up with on your wayward wanderings.) cheers from Philadelphia, Amy
Thanks for the heads up to check my junk folder! And the intro to your adventure. It's looking great. Well done for all the work planning etc. Worried I may not get to grips with new blogsite, but seems fine. Though may not have quite understood the comment system. Have a brilliant time, Richard and all, you've done all the work so don't be worrying, let's just see how it goes! A x
You seem to have managed the comments OK Annalyn. This site gives me the option to accept or reject comments, so there is an extra filter in case of abuse, but only friends & family should see it.
Trip to India Hi Dick,
I am glad that you all managed to arrange the journey of a life time (for some of you).
It will be great to read about your trip on the blog.
Wishing you all a safe journey and a great time.
Give my love to everyone
